So... “just be yourself”. You probably heard it often if you asked people for advice.

The issue with that, and most other “common” advice, is that it will not help a guy who has no success with women in the slightest. If it did, nobody would have issues dating, yet that number is larger than ever today.

So why does it not work?

The issue with “just be yourself” specifically... is that it is very broad, and open to interpretation. Being yourself could mean a lot of different things such as being socially awkward, introverted, or unable to carry a conversation.

I mean, given how common the advice is, it reads as if there is a pandemic of young men faking who they are for absolutely no reason, and if only they “were themselves” all of their dating issues would be solved. Which I assure you is not the case. If anything, guys “faking who they are” will have more success in the short term.

Translated, “just be yourself” is supposed to mean that you do not fake who you are. Authenticity. Which is great, I agree that you should be authentic. But what’s the problem I am mentioning?

Well, let’s look at some other common advice given online:

  • Cook for her, make her comfortable, make her feel sexy, and her panties are halfway down.
  • Clean the house, watch the kids, do some laundry, eat her pussy.
  • Communicate openly and actively.
  • Respect your own and others’ boundaries.
  • Don’t keep score in a relationship.

I could go on, but do you see the issue here? Let me give you a hint, it’s not that any of what I listed is wrong.

It’s that most advice people give is only relevant to long-term success!

And to succeed long-term... you must first succeed short term.

And that is what “common dating advice” lacks in, because being able to maintain a successful relationship doesn’t help you at all if you can’t attract a woman in the first place! Most guy’s relationships happen randomly, due to various circumstances. Not because they know exactly what it is you need to do to attract women. It’s the blind leading the blind. They got picked, rather than being the ones doing the picking.

The advice most commonly given is advice which only works after the girl in question is already attracted to you. Which happens to not be the case for a lot of guys.

In comes the red pill with actionable advice.
