I occasionally see some women complaining or feeling insecure about their partner getting turned on whenever they see some attractive women or women wearing tight/revealing clothes and most people will respond things such as "finding someone attractive is not cheating", and other related things.

But why is finding other people attractive systematically associated with arousal? There is a difference between acknowledging and noticing beauty and attractiveness, and thinking of sex whenever a woman wearing leggings appears.

I have always wondered about that because it seems that the majority of men are that way while women are not. My lesbian women friends could stare at nude pictures of models and won't associate it with sex. They will compliment their style, their vibe. So do I. While guys, in order to describe a woman's beauty, will talk about how they want to do her or how hard she makes them.

I am trying to understand this better and maybe change my perspective by seeing different opinions.
