So many red pillers defend the patriarchy, which basically coerced women to be submissive to their fathers, husbands and (later in life) their adult sons. Women were basically property with no control of their lives. They passed from the authority of one man to the next.

And while I am not a person who can't look past the feminist perspective and I don't think submission is inherently evil, you just can't convince me that the majority of men are worthy of women's submission. Most men are not more intelligent or capable than women. It's one thing if wives were to submit to King Solomon or other truly powerful men and another thing if they were forced to submit under the threat of violence to a random moronic peasant. In fact women who were married to peasants were often much more intelligent, capable and hard-working than their husbands.

This is why the patriarchy will always be a tyrannical, unfair system.
