I've found that on Reddit and basically any other social media a lot of people just don't know what a Centrist is, they always automatically assume that a Centrist is someone who looks for the middle ground or compromise in every situation. That if one side wants genocide and the other doesn't, we should just genocide half of the people.

That's not what a Centrist is, if you think it is you're a bit of a moron, just like the person who actually believes in that. A Centrist is literally just somebody who has left wing leanings on some issues and tight wings leanings on others. For example I'm pro-choice, but I'm also pro-gun.

Most of my leanings are actually left, but I just tell people I'm a centrist because i don't want to be associated with the left wing or right wing.

The past few years have made me realise how pointless participating in politics is, once you realise that every major party is run by the same people and all have shitty values you become disillusioned. This isn't a "bOtH aRe EqUaLlY bAd" thing, obviously some parties are less bad, that doesn't meant they aren't bad though. I'm not American but I can see what they're trying to do over there, they're trying to turn people against each other and produce hate. The government doesn't want society to work together, they want you hurting each other.

Look at last year's election, you had two awful candidates in Trump and Biden, both racist, both pedophiles and both shitty people, yet it doesn't matter, the elites are the ones running the show, they want people to get angry, that's why they made sure Trump got in, in 2016 because they know he'd cause divide, it's why made they made sure Biden got in, because America is still divided.

American politics is like a sitcom show honestly, Trump's presidency was one season, Biden's is another, they may add a twist later on with Kamala replacing him or some shit I don't know.

The person in office is different, but it's still the same people running the show under a different banner. I wonder if the elites will try and get Trump back in to create more divide.

It's not this bad in Australia, but it's still pretty bad.

I'm considering pulling out of the dating game completely until my late 20s to early 30s. I want to be able to spend the next 10 or so years building myself up, building my aesthetic body, creating a business, getting a steady income as well as learning everything I'd like to before even considering getting back into the dating game, as I honestly feel it would just be a distraction.

If I have to give up parties, gatherings, going out on the weekends with my friends, getting drunk out of my mind at clubs and bars, and "living my life" in my early adulthood to work hard, build my assets, get a good body and develop other skills I'm happy to do it. If I do all that and do it effectively I'm happy to live that party lifestyle in my 30s. I don't plan on getting married or having kids so I don't see any downsides really.

I'm still conflicted, but it's a tempting lifestyle. I probably won't buy a car during that time and just walk or take public transport everywhere because a car isn't really a good investment at my age, would rather save that money for important stuff.

I think PUA/RP guys used to understand that if you wanted casual, you had to project a "not good boyfriend material" vibe. The boyfriend type is taking her to dinner while she is taking you to bed.

The thing is this makes you disposable, and most often it is the woman doing the pumping-and-dumping. (Very often I would have kept pumping them if they were down.)

However now RP is crawling with guys who don't even understand the basic mechanics of casual sex. Like every post is some super betamax sex/commitment tradeoff logic. No man here can even conceive of sexually liberated people banging just for fun, no strings attached.

The thing is RP men don't just want sex, they have this power fantasy about getting revenge by pumping-n-dumping and being the "gatekeepers of commitment". So RP strategy (per the sidebar) is to behave like the boyfriend but future-fake them and string them along. It really is not "alpha" strategy, it is "sleazy beta" strategy. Because they are very afraid of getting pumped-n-dumped themsleves.

If you are some ultra sex-negative RP guy, just forget about casual sex. Having a bad vibe or appearing to be judgmental is killing your opportunities. None of you would be able to manage a FWB situation in the right way anyway.
