Women are most definitely having way way more sex than men. The reality is that the all women view the vast majority of men as ugly betas and there are way way more men who want sex then there are women who want sex. Also take into account that they're over 350 million people in the United States of America. The problem for most men is that even though a lot of them would still be considered handsome at the same time they're still very sexually unattractive which is what is preventing them from having sex. For a man to get free wild enthusiastic monkey sex with a gorgeous woman is a major accomplishment. Obtaining sex for women is not a big deal at all. Sex is very easy for them to get bc due to the high number of men not being able to get any; men are extremely easy so they have zero standards when it comes to the women they'll have sex with especially with the influence of alcohol and drugs. Hardly any man is turning down sex and a lot of men aim very low so even the most unattractive ugly and fat women are getting way more sex or just more sex in general than some of the most handsome men. The problem that men calls themselves when it comes to sex is they refuse to not be beta males anymore and not make themselves as extremely sexually attractive as possible.

Even if that was something more than a random blip in data (recent data suggests more men are now having sex, making that number more likely am aberration), it still wouldn't show that more women are having sex with the "same men."

The GSS and other data indicate that there are a significant minority of both sexes who are promiscuous. They could just have sex with one another.

In my promiscuous experience, that's largely the case.

Socioeconomic disadvantaged and unsocialized men in this age range have easy access to porn and video games which are dominating their free time. I would bet the majority of men who are getting no sex in this age range are also not going out to socialize, not engaging in hobbies or interests that will bring them in contact with females, and may not have jobs or be in college with a lot of women. This is not womens fault. This is a failure of society. Society which is controlled at all levels of government and at the higher corporate level by men.

I am not sure anyone definitively knows what is happening in the sexual marketplace right now. There is a lot of noise in the data it seems.

Frankly, all entrenched sides of this issue annoy me. Those that say this is DEFINITIVE proof are being premature. Those that want to poo poo any of this evidence are also being unwise. We don't know. Moreover, it is possible for these types of things to matter.

I have the most disdain for those that dogmatically say that whatever is happening, it doesn't matter because "nobody cares if ugly men are getting their dicks wet," or "men are not entitled to sex, so whatever happens happens and is the legitimate result of women's free choice."

There is some truth to these arguments, but it also ignores that if such numbers become extreme, you face what has historically been a civilizational threat. And all our pretty ideas of individual rights and people not being entitled to this or that only work and make sense within the context of a functioning civilization. So yeah, these numbers are well worth watching--this doesn't mean assuming any one set of policy measures to rectify them or anything like that. But they are worth watching.

Well because of differences in maturation rates couples are usually made up of men a bit older than women. Women, now as in the past, are with older men who match their maturation level not their numerical age.

That people are having less sex younger, although personally difficult for many, may be better for greater society as there are fewer children born to immature parents.

1 in 17 men reproduced historically. Recently I believe only 40-60% of men do? And on top of that, something up to 20% of people don't know the identity of their real father?

I think this is a self fulfilling prophecy as men who have more sex, become more desirable and better at the process.

I think this is the way it’s always been for the most part but with a couple caveats that have changed things.

OLD, has put this whole thing mentioned as well as the discrepancy in top males getting bulk of females has been amplified tremendously.

Likewise this concept spreads beyond OLD and into social media and technology in general then causes this same mechanism to stretch out to even rural or social circles where mating would be locked in via ecosystem. Even those who pull back from the technology have already been affected pretty tremendously and it affects their view point. For example a woman that is able to get her fill of love making from men that would normally be “out of her league” then shifts into settling down and can find no attraction for those on her actual level.

When you combine all of this + time and repetition that divide becomes wider and wider.

So here’s the thing this study does not break it down, at least not from what I can see into whether the individuals are married or living together a the time. This study was done during COVID where many people were held up in their homes. This definately presented less opportunities for single people to have sex. There were more women in the study overall, but how many of those women were married Or i committed serious relationships? I think this has a huge impact on this study and I don’t see a breakdown. Also some married people had less sex due to being sick of being together. Can someone point me to where it breaks down the relationship status? Am I missing it?

If less of the men were married than the women then the study is skewed. That has to be taken into account.

Well you can see the negative about the numbers but it would also mean that if 80% of women have sex with 20% of men that the other 20% women have sex with 50% of men and only 30% get no sex.

Also the number of prostituted sex vs normal sexi-prostituted (otherwise paid) sex would be interesting. Now in most US states prostitution is not legal, but even in that case probably many man had feared prostitution because of covid. (sure more the older men).

So good numbers would be without counting paid sex otherwise you could say that the vast majority of the financially worst male demographic of 18-24 year olds get sex and the 80-20 rule is debunked, or that huge amounts of men sleep all with the 20% most ungliest women.
