Yes men have standards and you can see that by the amount of effort they are willing to out towards a woman. And that effort won’t feel forced and he’ll enjoy it, as long as she’s not awful and actually likes him as well and shows it.

I think a lot of women also don’t make guys wait, i know plenty of couples who hooked up right away and remained together. I would say it happens to women who have been judged for it in the past.

Neither scenario that you described is going to make people feel happy.

Men are not going to be happy if they have to work much harder for sex with a girl they are going to have a relationship with than some other guy who just wanted sex.

They get angry at a woman hypothetically sleeping with a hot guy faster, meanwhile, women have to contend with the realization that the same man will treat a women differently from the moment they meet them til the rest of their lives together based on her social status and/or beauty.

On one hand, I think a lot of men are extremely quick to identify that sexual attraction and a woman's social status makes a difference in how he treats her. The same guy who takes his average Tinder dates out for coffee wouldn't risk fumbling the bag with Margot Robbie's long lost twin by offering the same experience, for example. But when it comes time to cope with the realization that women engage in the same behavior (caring about physical attraction and social status in a man), its like they can't handle it when the same is done to them.

The difference is men treat the girlfriend better than the hookup girl based on what women value and are validated by.

Women treat the hookup guys better than the boyfriend guys based on what men value and are validated by.

So unfortunately our desires are conflicting where whoever cares the least wins. I don't necessarily agree with it. But the strongest form of this common argument is that it is fine for women to do what they want, they just need to own up to it. Yes, men also have different rules for different guys. That isn't really the core issue for a lot of men. All they want to avoid is being with women who are less attracted to them than other guys they has slept with, with the added insult to injury of having to play by very different rules than the guys she desired more had to.

We are not talking a ton of course, but whenever I did pull on a night out, she would take me back to hers. I had the odd relationship start based on this, same as my current one. Which has last 2 decades. So don't know if this was just a couple of years or not. But in nearly all cases the girl approached me first. Which I guess is a much better clue to whether she is interested or not.

Yes men should be worried about this. They should recognize when a woman does not respect them and understand that is a red flag. If this is happening to women they should be doing the same. If a guy goes on expensive dates with other women and not them they should also be worried that they aren’t receiving the same treatment and recognize the red flag. It’s not the idea that women shouldn’t be doing this. It’s recognizing that it’s happening and realizing you might not want to date someone who is doing this to you. Both men and women can recognize this.

If I’m wining and dining a woman, especially early stages, I’ll usually offer to pay. I’ll always be cool with 50/50. I treat women equally, unless I’m aware that you aren’t the type to give a shit about all that extra stuff and just want to have sex. Plus, it’s easier to get to the sex part when you put some effort in anyways.
