Why is this “wealthy men flying women to Dubai” a thing that is discussed like it is even remotely close to common. Instagram models are the only women getting this. You think Becky from a town with less than 10,000 people with 387 Facebook friends , who has a solid rack and was a cheer leader in high school just has men offering this, or hell, flying them to Vegas, New Orleans, or even paying for a rental to the nearest nice city?

Y’all talk about top 10% of men and whine. Then turn around and talk about the .0001% of women like it’s something 25% of women, the solidly decent looking one of course, just obviously have dealt with at least once, if not multiple times.

I think this kind of talk is social media rot in guys brains who don’t have very large social lives where they actually know a lot of women.

OH, this is the OKCupid data! Well OKCupid ran a totally different algorithm. This is from a time when most of the people using online dating were considered losers. So the women using it were not particularly attractive. Also, it’s not a hookup ap it’s for people who want relationships. It also did a fantastic job of giving women more than just a photo to go off of. If there was something similar today, you would find men and women both having a much better experience with dating.

Do you know why this went out of business? Because too many people were meeting and then never signing up again. Tinder knew this and they figured out quickly how to use female attraction patterns to turn dating into a near inescapable hellscape. I used both platforms back the in the day. Once I mastered the algorithm, tinder was like doordash for sex. OK Cupid was always a struggle. Maybe I was too young at the time and had less game.

Yeah, if you want to actually fix the problem, you want a plan that's biased tiwards your point of view.

Similar to if a car stops working on the freeway, you don't pull out a multisemester course on the workings of an internal combustion engines and various metal milling techniques to build one.

An effective approach starts with "Am I out of gas?".
Biased towards your immediate situation.

Would you also say that men who want to date women, but whom are quick with resentful comments towards women are also self sabotaging? Or do those men get a pass.

The kind of guys I hang out with, they've been trained to do this to get them self-sabotage, and one of the things they learn from red pill stuff is to stop doing this. With someone you just met starting off bitching and complaing just makes you look weak and unnattractive.

In the context of dating someone you aren't dating already, girls are incredibly and unbelievably lazy.

She just wasn't into you, move on.

Some red pill stuff has other ways to describe it like that women there's a 'higher cost for pregnancy so girls are slower to act'.

So if that was true, lesbian relationships should be the absolute slowest to progress (because even if pregnancy isn't on the table, evolutionary psychology that red pill seems to be obsessed with applies) and anyone with lesbian friends knows that "we met last month, she's moving in Saturday" is a perfectly realistic scenario.

Yeah part of the reason girls are lazy is the hostile attitude towards dating from the social structure above them. They end up with 'learned helplessness' as they call it.

Ok but seriously. I am not denying that women who demand princess treatment (bonus points if they look nothing like princesses nor have princess manners and education) exist. Women who want men to basically beg for their attention are real because women are people and some people are really shitty. No man with common sense wants a woman like that. That's where the red pill comes in. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy, because sure enough no woman with common sense wants a man who thinks women are "extremely lazy". But then there ARE women who are extremely lazy, so who's their ideal mate? A man who expects them to be extremely lazy of course. Not only is that convenient, but also no man outside of the red pill bubble wants them - these men, being level-headed themselves, will not settle for crazy, lazy and fringe.

I agree with you to a certain degree. I do think young boys are done a disservice by our society. however, I think a lot of it is from norms that are based on a certain degree of entitlement and pressures of value of masculinity from other men. like having sex is what makes you valuable, not having a true respectful relationship. that you should be able to get a girlfriend, not that you have to work on yourself and bring something of value to her to make a relationship balanced. they want the easy fix to get sex.

I do think it’s a cultural problem, but I don’t think the real solutions are ones that are appealing to boys and em. because fhey’re uncertain and difficult.

so like with many thinsg, there’s a balance. they are dealt a bad hand in some ways, but that doesn’t make them victims with no agency or accountability either.

Another case of Blue Pillers misunderstanding the actual point of those statements because their understanding of it comes mostly from rage bait.

AWALT is not meant to be taken that literally. It started mostly as a joke because of how often women would claim they weren't like other girls or they're not like them, when in reality they do 90% of the same shit most other women do. It started being used more frequently, mostly to get certain guys out of the mindset of always thinking the girl they have a crush on is different and not like the other girls. In reality, a lot of women think alike just like a lot of men do. And it's not a good idea to put people on a pedestal before you actually get to know them well.

RP encourages negative mindsets

You're confusing RP with Black Pill. Those are not the same. Black Pillers say it's over if you're not Chad and have a doomer mindset. Red Pillers actually encourage guys to accept what women want and improve in ways to get more women, instead of trying to moralize attraction or cope. Their stance is that dating is amoral and that women are dating in ways to optimize getting the best partner they can and the most enjoyment out of being single, and that men should date in a similar way. If some guys choose to be bitter about this, how is RP responsible for people getting mad at reality?

I read an article a while back on this. I’ve been so tempted to post thr ideas here to red oilers, but I feel like they’ll just deny it all or argue or not care so it hasn’t been worth it to me.

theres a few reasons for it, that being one of them

an 18 year old guy is less likely to date a girl whose 16/17 which wouldnt be that bad, but the social environments are a fair bit different if the 18 year old is out of high school. But like you said, a 28/29 year old woman being with a 33/34 year old dude happens a lot more.
there is slightly more men than women amongst all age buckets until senior citizens. The only reason why women are 51% of the USA is because of old people being overwhelming women
30% of gen z women are LGBT, only about 8% of men are last i checked. Historically there have been more gay men than lesbian women, but gen Z (really the 90s born millennials) changed that. A lot of women are in fact dating each other now. Yes the majority of that 30% are the B part (or pan, demi, etc), and bisexual women still tend to end up with men, but plenty of bisexual women are with women too.

The 34/63 discrepancy of single women/men in that 18-29 group seems hard to believe, but its plausible.

Women & men aren't the same. We have problems and struggles unique to our sex and gender that the other gender struggle to understand or rationalize. Sometimes those problems overlap and become human problems but some problems, advantages & dating or pairing strategies are wildly different and to say so otherwise would be dishonest.

What are you going on about? My original point was about this woman claiming to not have any physical or superficial standards when it comes to being attracted to or pursuing men. This is such a silly answer, because you’re assuming that beliefs don’t impact behavior at all, ever.

To use a specific example of someone projecting RP without using any of tHe LiNgO, I went on a first date with a guy I really liked. We had hit it off like crazy over text, same taste in music and movies, similar hobbies, and just nonstop great communication.

I wasn’t looking for a hookup and I had been clear about that. He told me he was looking for something serious too. We went on the date, and it was great. Again, great vibes. He seemed super into me.

End of the date, we walk out to our cars. I asked him if I’d see him again, he said yes. He then asks me if I want to come back to his. I say no, I’m not looking to hook up on a first date. He accepted it gracefully in the moment and said he’d text me later.

He let me know over text later that he felt “let down” about not getting laid right away, and that it made him feel like I didn’t like him. I blocked him so fast.

Personality does matter. Chemistry comes from how you act. Attraction is a mix of chemistry and looks.

Okay a hypothetical here.

We have guy A. Guy A is conventionally attractive and tall. But Guy A is really boring to talk to. Overly Charismatic kind of a douche a bit full of himself. You can't even get a word in because he's just talking about himself. And trying to run game on you. There's no intrigue no chemistry. Nothing fun. He's just like talking to a wall. And awkwardly making passes at you. It's weird it's bad vibes.

Guy B may not be as tall? Maybe not as forward in flirting but you guys have AMAZING chemistry when you talk. You talk about everything and reservations pass and you actually like their company. It creates intrigue. They may not even be "your type". But you vibe. And it's cool. And you end up hanging out with them and exchange information.

Guy B is clearly more attractive. He's relating to the other person and more interesting to talk to than Guy A who is just like a sleazy salesman trying to close the deal.

I think so. I think that's why I gravitate more towards goth/alternative men. They style themselves nice and wear their personality and put a little effort into their style and not afraid to push the envelope and experiment with make up and aesthetics. They put effort in and it shows. I appreciate it.

I think you get more continuity with guy B. Guy A is the guy you get up and move away from. Get your drink and skedaddle away after you tried to skedaddle away the first time. Sure he may have tried to get your attention? Maybe there was a pleasant exchange then he got pushy and weird and was laying it on thick. Putting a pleasant exchange into pressure.

Guy B is the one you wait for with your drink and his drink because he went to the bathroom. Guy B is the one you are going to be walking out of the place with arm in arm. Or figuring out what to do after because you like spending time with them. And wanting to see them after.

The guys think we like guy A? No. He's the chest beating alpha type. It's annoying. Guy B is a decent human being and fun to spend time with.

I say this. Because I met guy like guy A. He would lay it on thick. He was like 6'3. And kept trying to veer the conversation to flirting with me. And compliments it felt forced and then tried to continue the night with me. It just felt weird. Corny. Annoying. I kept trying to ditch him. Gives me corny I work in Hollywood vibes. And those guys are the WORST. Humble brag about what celebrities they meet. Money. It's a headache and bore.

What convinced me that the Red Pill is nothing more than a cope mechanism for unhappy men is the very idea of the metaphor where it gets its name from. The red pill (from the matrix) represents the harsh, unpleasant truth, while the blue pill represents living a live in a pleasant lie. This sentiment leads to red pillers treating their ideology in a way that makes it an unfalsifiable claim, because if someone or something dissagrees with their world view, it can be quickly dismissed as a blue piller not wanting to face the sad truth. This sentiment is inherently anti-scientific, because facts don't care about your feelings. Whether something is unpleasant or not does not change the truth. I see how men are ata dissadvantage in some aspects, and those are the talking points the red pill focuses on. But they completely disregard anything that suggests how terrible the life of women can be. Sure, dating is hard for men, but I still wouldn't wanna trade places with women in the dating world. I reject the red pill because of the very biased and selective nature of their basis for their ideology.

I have a sister, a mother and a girlfriend, and just listening to the stories they tell from when they dated or went out was horrifying. Sure, it is probably easier getting laid or even getting attention from men. But women face a much higher risk in terms of general safety during dates with strangers (SA is a thing, some men out there are pigs). Men also seem to expect sex a lot more, which makes it harder to identify whether a guy is actually interested in you as a person, or if he just wants to sleep with you. It is easy to get laid as a woman(which seems to be the only goal of red pillers?), but most girls I know are genuinly trying to find a partner for life, and this is nightmare. In addition to the experiences I heard from women close to me, I also hear the sort of "locker room talk" from coworkers and some friends, which I find beyond disgusting. You'd be surprised how some men, even men that get along with everyone, talk about women behind their backs. All in all I am not denying that dating sucks for men. I too feel the high expectations of women, even while being in a happy relationship. (Not from my GF tho, to this day I don't know why she loves me so much). But instead of complaining about women I think it is better to do to them what you wished they would do for yourself: Have some empathy for their side! And the more I think about it, the more I realize that dating for women probably sucks even harder than for us men. But it's not a competion lol

Here we are at another problem: People have a vastly different understanding or definition of what the red pill actually means. If I argue against any red pill claim, my experience tells me that a typicall dismissal of point would be "well that's not actually.what the red pill says." The red pill is not a completely unified and consensus-based idiology. That being said, feel free to list a couple red pill points. Otherwise, I will base my answer to your question based on what I see people who identify as red pillers post here and in other subs. Examples of biased and selective points would be the following: I see a very heavy tendency to blame women for the current "broken" dating market. I rarely ever see red pillers talk about how watching porn is very damaging to young men's peeception of sex and women in general. (And if porn is discussed, they seem to blame the problem on the women making it, not on the men that consume it. Watch any episode of the Whatever podcast as an example). They also do not talk about how women face more sexual assaults and other things that make dating uneasy for them. Instead they love to talk about hypergamy, which is often framed as "women are just too picky these days". I repeat, this might not be you doing this, but you have to admit that there is an anti women bias in red pill communities.

Again, I can't stress it enough, I am not arguing about hypergamy. my point is that the RP has a bias towards blaming the women for the broken dating market. A bias manifests if you only look at data that proves your point. As I explained earlier, the red pill loves to talk about hypergamy, but I rarely ever see anybody talk about things that men do, which makes dating so bad nowadays. I used hypergamy (which is 100% a popular talking point among red pillers, demonstrated by just now by how quickly you wanted to change the subject to that instead of talking about my point) as an example. For my claim, it doesn't even matter whether hypergamy is real etc etc. I am pointing out that RP people love to talk about things like that, but rarely ever about studies etc. that demonstrate problems in male behaviour, which breaks the dating market. I cannot possibly explain it more clearly. Do you understand what I am saying? You can use hypergamy studies as a basis to blame women (although I would dissagree there, we can discuss it fuether if you like), but if you only cite studies that shift the blame to women, you are biased.
