Every time that unplanned pregnancy comes up on this sub, some man always says "but women can just abort, they never have real consequences" I can see where they are coming from from a financial perspective but sometimes I think that the manosphere underestimates how hard abortion really is. Also abortions cost money, just FYI.

Disclaimer to ward off the personal attacks: I have not had an abortion, I don't personally believe in it for myself but I will not hamper other people from doing what they want.

From the beginning, it is tough. Pregnancy hormones can turn the most rational of women into emotional wrecks. This makes making a decision even harder because no matter how unsuitable the situation is, you want to protect that nugget. But that's not the hardest part even. Finding an abortion clinic is tough because of all the stupid laws that states use to make abortion more difficult because Roe v Wade made abortion legal and they don't like that.

Then comes the actual procedure! That's not a walk in the park either, it's not easy. There are side effects that linger after the procedure. Even if you do the pill thing at home, it still sucks. Anyway, the point of all this is that women do not indeed get away scot free. We do have consequences. Men aren't the only ones who suffer when unplanned pregnancies happen.
