Last night I had a great night out with my friends of 17 years. 6 guys and 3 girls, 7 in relationships and 2 singles.

Predictably we talked about relationships and the straight friends in relationships all said they didn’t want to have kids. Their reasons were the same: they didn’t want their kids to live in a current state of the country/world. It’s not like they have any financial problems, so I guess it’s other factors as well.

One girl has a problem with her long-distance boyfriend who is willing to chat with her only twice or thrice a week and is really bad at communicating by disappearing for a week when he was stressed out. He was not sure about the future plan of the relationship because he wanted to finish his PhD first. Obviously my friend was not too happy about all this.

I didn’t go full Reddit mode by telling her to break up and assuring her that she could do better, even though I sincerely believe it. But we all told her that relationship was not supposed to drain you and make you tired so often. I also stressed that she was more patient than I have ever been. Like in 6 months, she had more arguments with her bf than I had in my 2 years of relationship.

Closing out the dead-horse-beating-topic of the week with the whole "she did it with her ex and not with me" thing, I had a conversation with a coworker who has been reading "The 5 Love Languages" and asked him how does he feel about wanting to be her best she ever had.

He said "I don't want to be her best. I want to be her last. " Kind of powerful from him since he is more relationship oriented and is the type that believes that the woman he is with chose him.

I wonder do we all want to be someone's best and last which is why there are issues like retroactive jealousy and fomo that happen to people in relationships and constantly compare to FWB?

Do you think that in today's culture, it is increasingly difficult for relationships with a significant pure looks disparity to work out long term? Today's culture increases the focus on beauty for both genders, it seems. And even though men care more about looks than women do innately, the influence of a visual and digitally-powered culture focused on maximizing eroticism seems to be overwhelming biological differences.

For guys, game and status etc. still can compensate for looks in the short-term, but it often seems like over time if the guy isn't on her looks level, things go wrong. And couples where he looks a lot better have always been a problem, and likely still are.

Idk why people always suggest having female friends to people who suck with women. It’s really a not well thought out platitude. Because like most likely if you don’t know how to interact with women it’s because of several issues that trace back to childhood. Women can smell men who aren’t socially calibrated and will avoid them platonic or not.

In reality if they don’t have any friends in shit in the first place it’s cause of deep rooted shit. And also no one is just gonna be your friend like that. Half the time y’all give this advice to dudes who are clearly socially crippled. Who end up in the same spot. But I understand why people suggest these things it’s just not reality.

I have a good amount of female friends now and have a good amount of make friends too. My female friends play zero factor with other women. These women also don’t want some random dude trying to befriend them like that unless it’s context. I also a lot of them could care less about teaching you how to communicate especially if you’re in your twenties.

Last, don’t tell this to a dude who’s struggling and wants a relationship. Most dudes aren’t stupid and have had women in their life. Telling this to them is a real "thanks I’m healed” moment. It’s why the friend zone happens in SOME cases. That awkward dude who wants a girl friend will ALWAYS catch feelings. I think the best bet is too hang around men who have female friends and are socially calibrated. I’m not even trying to shit on men who are socially challenged.

Shit I’m 5’4 but I’m also socially skilled so I can work my way and charm people even at college parties. I don’t think I’d get away with that I do if I didn’t have a large personality/likeable.

TLDR: if you want to learn how to act around women, try to get a experienced guy to take you under his wings not Harding women to be their "friend”. Shit doesn’t happen when you’re socially behind.

Crazy day

A few weeks ago, my sister was found face down in her hot tub and pronounced dead at the scene.

She was a pretty heavy drinker, so we all just assumed that she passed out and fell into the hot tub.

But the autopsy just came back that there was no water in her lungs or stomach and that they are moving forward with a homicide investigation.

The primary suspect is her boyfriends daughter who has broken in to steal prescription meds in the past. They think maybe she was stealing pills and an altercation happened and she accidentally killed my sister, then threw her in the hot tub to cover it up. Not sure if the boyfriend is an accomplice or not, but probably.

I’ve noticed so much red pill stuff after going on a week long trip to a major city with my Chad cousins. We’re all around the same age with me being the only college educated of the 3 and we all make 100k-300k range in income so we’re all well off. My cousins explain we’re all cousins and she blurts “REALLY?? YOU GUYS LOOK ALIKE BUT NOT HIIIIMMM.” Except my cousins really don’t look like except for being 6’3 and good looking lol. What she really meant was “How are y’all tall and good looking and he’s ugly and short???”.

The girl who my cousin bought a drink for double backs and buys us shots as an appreciation token but at this point that same cousin is making out with the hot girl and I can see she’s disappointed lol. I find out we majored in the same thing so we talk a little but I could see she keeps looking back at my cousin. My other cousin takes the 4-5 girl back to the hotel and she stayed over but didn’t let him smash. (Literally can’t imagine the point of coming over to cuddle and tease she really must have been down bad for affection). Later he told me when he dropped her off she went for a kiss and he rejected her.

This whole experience made me remember a thread about hanging with chads making it easier for the average guy to get laid and I’d agree only because chads command attention from women almost like a speaker has with an audience. So just be virtue of being around more women, a chad friend will benefit you.

Was a really fun week overall though and at the end of the trip, my cousins both had pussy lined up for them when we landed.

Usually my relationships start out with me being extraverted and impressing them. Making them laugh, making them happy. Then when we get into the real part of the relationship where there's no need to try and impress them anymore, and it's there that I see I have no real feelings for them and probably never will.
