This sub is absolutely chock full of people regurgitating the same points over and over about how wo/men suck or how their lack of sex or constant rejection is weighing on their mental health and it made me wonder if anyone has tried going to therapy? I feel like I've gotten super tied up in this sub lately and am personally thinking about seeking out a therapist to talk about some things with. A lot of the takes on here are borderline (if not completely) frightening and seem a bit dangerous.

It doesn't seem healthy to be so caught up in worrying about who's having sex and who's not, n count (your own or anyone else's), wanting to relinquish the rights of one sex or the other, one's relationship status or that of people you don't know and probably won't ever meet, thinking that the opposite sex is conspiring against you personally, etc etc.

So I'm just wondering, have you tried therapy? If so, have you seen any results (related to your state of mind and/or wrt interaction with and feelings about the opposite sex) and if not, have you or would you ever consider seeking it out? Please state if you're a man or woman also

Edit: A few people have commented about how annoying it is for people to constantly say "seek therapy/get help". I want to clarify that is not the goal of this post or what I'm saying at all. This is not a suggestion for anyone, I only want to hear about people's experiences.
