For the record, I'm a big privacy advocate and I find snooping to be completely immoral. It's also very illegal in many cases. If you don't trust your partner then you shouldn't be in a relationship with them in the first place.

I'm bringing this question up because I noticed a post on a women's dating subreddit where the users and moderators are actively advocating snooping on their male partners' phones without their consent. These women weren't kidding when they said they were immoral, and it eludes me how this specific sub isn't banned nor quarantined yet.

What are your thoughts on snooping? Personally, to protect my privacy in the dating world I'd do these three things:

1) Never share personal passcodes with any other human being. If they ask for it, tell them to kick rocks

2) Disable fingerprint/face detection whenever I'm sleeping with someone

3) Switch up your lock pattern every now and then
