I'm curious about the mindset that I see online and in person. Men seem entitled to sex and relationships. To the extreme, some men lash out violently when they do not get women. Some go as far as killing their wives/exes/girlfriends so that no one else can "have" them. Some say they should be given wives.

I'm a 27 year old woman who has never been in a relationship and was last asked out when I was 21. But I don't hold it against other people that they don't find me attractive or that they don't want to date me. I don't feel entitled to love even though I watch popular media like sitcoms, romcoms, etc. where the woman ends up in a relationship or in love. I don't relate to other women who get hit on or are dealing with DMs and juggling dates and likes on dating apps. I'm also from a culture that prioritizes marriage.

I'm awkward and overweight with poor self esteem...but I don't blame others, especially men, for not wanting me. Why are some men the opposite? Why do many externalize rather than internalize?
