I was enjoying dinner with a mid 40s guy I knew. He had recently gone through a “breakup”. My eyes glazed over because I knew what happened before he started sharing. He fell for a stripper, started dating and taking care of her. One day, he was admiring her photos on Instagram. He couldn’t help but notice there was some guy commenting heart emojis under each post. He goes on the guy’s profile and sees several photos of him (a much younger guy) and his “girlfriend” together…enjoying the lifestyle that he was helping to provide. He confronted the guy via direct message and immediately broke it off with his stripper “girlfriend”. I tried to sympathize with how hurt he was; but as he shook his head in disbelief, I was stunned by his ignorance and delusion.

Men complain that average women who believe a Chad wants to settle down with them are foolish. Well, old men who believe much younger women naturally desire them are no different. Both groups are exploited for their delusion.

A woman’s top pick will be a male from her own peer group:

20-24 | 25-29 | 30-34 | 35-39 | 40-44 | 45-49 | 50-54 | 55-59

Let’s say the main 3 factors women consider when choosing a man are: looks (physical preferences, attraction), status (profession, wealth, network), and character (values, compatibility). I’d guess that most women today weigh these factors somewhat equally (i.e. 33.3% 33.3% 33.3%…or say 40% 25% 35% as a more natural example) for her ideal partner.

For a woman in any given age group, her top pick will be a man who is also in that age group and qualifies (her preference for looks, status, character). He will be the first in line for consideration. “1st Pick”

If there are no qualifying men in that group, she will consider a man in the next age group. He is 2nd in line for consideration. “2nd Pick”

If there are no qualifying men in that group, she will consider a man in the next age group. He is 3rd in line. “3rd Pick”

So on and so forth. She settles in regards to age until she finds the best balance of factors.

Women with options as an indication.\ The highest value women have their pick in men and therefore don’t have to settle. High value women are usually with a high value equal. There will be few disparities, if any. So select any high value woman at random and see who she’s chosen as her partner. 9/10, it’s a man in her peer group. If women naturally desired old men, then wouldn’t high value women choose the oldest men possible?

The bigger the age gap, the lower the likelihood her interest is genuine.
+/- 5 (most honest interest/desire)
+/- 10 (enough honest interest/desire)
+/- 15 (questionable interest/likely to monkey-branch)
+/- 20 (most likely to monkey-branch)
+/- 25 (will leave regardless)

Consider playboy Hugh Hefner’s ‘girlfriends’. Not that anyone believed their interest in him was real, but many of the women admitted to sneaking off to enjoy real relationships with guys their own age while they were with him. This is easy to believe since after these women left/Hugh Hefner’s passing, they went on to be with men their own age (1st-2nd pick). Why didn’t these young centerfolds sneak off to or enter into new relationships with old men?

Another story…there was this successful, older guy. He had a big, beautiful home; but, because he worked so much, he was hardly there. He meets this girl and eventually offers to let her stay in his mansion. Well, he would see on his camera that there was a guy, a younger guy, presumably her boyfriend, she had over regularly. Once he figured out what was going on, he showed up to the house and screamed “The next time you’re feeling horny, you need to call ME!”

The bigger the age gap, the higher the likelihood she will leave at some point.
Imagine there’s a 36y/o woman who settled for and is seeing a 52y/o man. She’s satisfied in her relationship with him. One fall morning, in a coffee shop, she meets a 39y/o man who she finds attractive. He starts up a conversation with her and they sense mutual attraction and compatibility. She learns that the 39y/o guy is comparable to her partner in almost every way. There would be a higher likelihood of her monkey branching into a relationship with the 39y/o guy.

Outliers:
There are women who place a premium on just one factor. I believe this is why there are outliers.

For example: a woman who’s premium is looks, will tolerate a broke Chad with no real future or character. A woman who’s premium is status, will forego looks and character. A woman who’s premium is character will care less about looks and status.

But, generally, women seem to want a balance of the three, the best balance she can find, settling in age until she does. Women do not naturally desire older men, but are willing to date them if there are no available men who qualify in her peer group. And this is usually because men take so long to cultivate themselves and mature, if ever at all. So women are forced to settle for an older man and sometimes monkey branch. A woman’s natural desire, though, will always be a guy her own age.

If men want honest, lasting relationships where they are truly desired and valued, they must consider the facts and stop being so foolish.
