This horse might be dead, but some people still don't seem to get it.

If a girl asks how tall you are, and you respond with how much does she weigh, the person who is more of a shallow asshole is the woman here. Especially if that person weaponizes feelings about their weight against you. And I can't believe I have to say this, but its because you can do something about your weight, and you cannot do anything about your height, or your hair, or your eye color, or the color of your skin, or any of that shit. 'Oh but blah genetics, and hormones, and you dont get it'. No, I do, it's not easy, but it's possible, and it actually can tell a person a lot about habits and values, unlike the rest of those parameters i just stated. So it's actually not a poor metric per se, where height truly has no bearing on anything.

It seems to be this totally accepted condition nowadays, to be asked how tall you are, to be judged how tall you are. A meme but not really because its practice. Under 6 ft? Sorry no date. But hint at asking about any weight, immediately you're an asshole who has no sympathy. (I haven't done this, I just hate hypocrisy and double standards, and ive seen it happen enough around me)

I am 6 ft, but my gf has said if I was shorter, she wouldn't have dated me. We have a friend who is a fantastic person... didn't want to date him because he is 5'10. 2 inches, thats the reason im dating and other people aren't. 2 inches i didnt do a damn thing to earn.
