I tried posting this is relationship subs, but they downvoted it and therefore I couldn't respond or find an answer. The post disappears. I've been a recent lurker in this sub and I thought I might find some advice here.

I welcome all advice; even ones that are critical of me. But please don't downvoted because it makes it hard for me to respond.

TLDR: I (24M) have been having regular sex with my married neighbor(36F) for 6 months. Her husband is insisting that she has caught feelings for me and wants me to end it. I don’t know how to proceed because I like our arrangement a lot.

So here's the story. It's very long but I feel like it's important to provide the context. I live in a proper house that I have all to myself. The house belongs to my rich elder brother and he was kind enough to let me stay for a quarter of the rent that he would charge. I was happy about this because it's close to my university and I like the house.

My neighbor, let’s call him Joe, is kind of an asshole. Even when my brother was staying there, he would always be complaining about something. No one on the street likes him. When I first moved in there, he was complaining that I had very bright Christmas decoration lights. I thought that was ridiculous because it was just normal decorations. On last new year’s eve, his wife, let’s call her Cindy, came around to my place and gave me some cookies and apologized for her husband’s behavior. This surprised me because she was very nice and very sweet and it was surprising that someone like her was married to someone like him. We just chatted for a while and I said that she didn’t have to apologize for his behavior and that the decorations would be removed in a few days anyways. That was the end of that.

Fast forward to a few months later, I ordered something on amazon. The package was supposed to be delivered to my home. I don't know whether the delivery guy messed up the address or he thought it would be wise to leave it with the neighbor, but he left it at my neighbor’s doorstep. Joe, being the prick that he is, threw it in the trash. I was confused when I got an update saying that it was delivered but I couldn’t find the package. The next day, Cindy knocked on my door and explained what happened. To be honest, I was really angry and even though she was very apologetic, I just vented all my anger at her. She was upset that I yelled at her but she realized that I had a right to be angry and so she offered to pay for the cost of the item in the package. I told her it's not about the money, it's about decency. She left. The next day I felt bad for yelling at her for her husband’s behavior. I wanted to apologize to her when I found a note under my door from Cindy. The note said she was very sorry and had her cell phone number in it in case I wanted to get the money from them. After reading this, I felt very guilty and I wanted to apologize to her. I sent her an apology text and after minutes of sending her the text, she knocked on my door and offered to pay for the item. I said it wasn’t necessary and I just wanted to apologize for yelling at her.

The next few weeks, I started chatting with her and I learned that we had some similar interests. Very quickly, it progressed into some light flirting. It was harmless so I didn’t think too much. Besides, she was married so nothing could happen anyway. And then on the 4th of July, I came out of my house to watch some fireworks. She was doing the same thing and I just went over and started chatting with her. Honestly, we just really enjoyed each other's company.

That night she knocked on my door and then told me that she really liked my company and that I am good looking. She told me that would like to be FWB with me. I told her that I don’t have sex with married women and that it would only exacerbate my situation with her husband. She told me that they have an open marriage and that she had his permission to have sex with other people. I first thought she was joking but she was dead serious. I pondered over it that night. She didn’t really bother to go out and meet anyone because she was busy with her life (She has a daughter) and she didn't find a connection with anyone. She felt that we had a connection and that’s why she wanted to have sex with me. I realized this was not something that comes easily so I decided not to end it. This all happened 2 months ago.

Recently, I realized that she has been acting a bit differently towards me. I mean it's not like a switch flipped or something but gradually she has been doing this. It seemed like her “affection” towards me had increased. Whenever we had sex she would make intense eye contact with me especially towards the end when I was about to cum. She would call me “baby” during sex and she would always want me to finish inside her. Also, previously, whenever we had sex at night, she would leave to her place after we finished cuddling. Also, I’m not sure of Joe’s intentions. He might be a jealous person who’s angry that his wife is getting some and wants to break it up. I don’t know how to proceed here.

Well acted film.

I still have an unsettled “I didn’t like that” feeling in my gut about the movie.

And I realize it’s because of the reactions to the movie I’ve been seeing. Not necessarily the movie itself.

I didn’t know the plot or the events it was based on prior to watching.

After watching, I’m sort of shocked so many of the reactions from men are like “what a dope fight Seqence. Yeah fight for your honor bro!”

Meanwhile my reaction to the movie was honestly “ew” to every male character involved and more focused on the lead female character’s experience.

Ridley Scott intentionally made it about Matt Damon’s honor as a social commentary of the era, but the dudes reacting to the movie are unironically missing that nuance. He wasn’t the one raped. She was. And per the movie, no one cared about her trauma there.

Unrelated: I’ve thought Adam driver was hot or rather had the potential to be mega hot since he showed up on girls season 1. Ridley Scott outdid himself. It’s the best Adam has ever looked.

A girl I know put on a lot of weight over lockdown. No biggie, it's happened to a lot of people. She's still carrying this weight even though life is pretty normal now and again, no biggie. It's her body and if she doesn't feel like losing the weight then whatever (also can just take a while to lose weight).

...However, since she has gained weight her IG feed has become nothing but body positivity posts and ridiculous claims of fatphobia ("encouraging others to exercise is fatphobic!" "Dieting is fatphobic!", you get the gist). It's pretty obvious that it's just a response to her own insecurity, as she used to post many photos of herself and now she barely posts pictures of herself at all (and if she does post a picture, it's from very specific angles).

Never thought I'd see the cliché of a woman adopting fat activism because it's easier than just losing the weight in real time!

I don't think he's crazy to actually try something. He's someone who you might say is all words and no actions. He's very verbally annoying and abusive but I don't think I've ever seen him do anything physical.
