This question is for all genders. There has been discussion lately about the relevance of n count and men’s supposed preference for low n women.

This would only play out if high n women were not actually being chosen for relationships, though. Are women truly being “punished” for having a promiscuous past and being high n?

So I would like to know “real world” if anyone actually knows of a high n woman who has had trouble finding a long-term relationship when she decided that she wanted one. My hypothesis is that many men here are going to claim to know someone, but that women will say that they don’t, but I’m curious to read the responses.

Note that this question is not about whether a high n woman has problems maintaining a relationship before cheating or branch swinging, but only about whether she has problems finding a relationship in the first place, or keeping that man in the relationship if he becomes aware of her sexual history.

If you know a man who has had problems, you’re free to share details about that, too. But I suspect that men being “punished” for past promiscuity is even less common than women.
