I see this spammed in almost every thread here, as well as young millennial and zoomers talking about it irl, therapy. My question is simple, why does everyone need therapy these days? There are people who genuinely need it, people with anger management issues, drug and or alchool abuse, adultery, but people talk about getting it for the smallest smidgen of negative emotion they experience. I feel like this generation is much worse off than managing their emotions than previous generations, and they just aren't as rough and tough mentally as prior generations. This is a hill I'm willing to die on. Why do you think therapy is so fixated on these days by this age group pertaining to romantic relationships?
