It's a jab at woman's desire to not be predictable. All humans are predictable, men as well obviously, but because of the Disney Princess paradigm that most women are taught as children, the idea that their behavior is based on patterns and can be boiled down to a formula, infuriates most women. They even chisel each other about it, see words like "basic" or "Karen" or "pick me" in more specific contexts.

Women, particularly younger women, tend to believe in things like fate, and when they exhibit a behavior that's typical of most women they find a way to justify it as being unique. The top comment by a woman in this thread is saying shit like "oh but men find these girls online and at bars, that's why they're all the same." As if she has never been to a bar and got hit on by a guy and reciprocated.

Another clear example is a thread from yesterday where a guy asked women what he could do to be more attractive to women. Almost every woman's comment was justifying the fact that there was no advice to give because all women are different. They. Are. Not. Most men are similar as well.

Women want a guy who elevates her life in some way. Whether that's comfort, safety, status, wealth, etc, it's something that all women desire from a partner otherwise there is no reason to not be single where they can have their sexual and conjugal desires fulfilled at a moments notice. Here's a list of shit women say that they don't mean, the incomplete sentences of a woman's dialogue.

"I hate it when men approach me (unless they're attractive)."

"I hate it when guys are overly sexual (unless I really want to fuck them)."

"I hate it when men generalize women (because there is some truth to what they say)."

"I don't like male dating strategies (because it validates that my behavior is predictable)."

I'm sorry to anyone who reads this who is severely jarred or offended (to some extent) but the truth is that we are all predictable, and AWALT is not so much an ideology as much as it is jabbing women for pretending that they aren't.

This post is a trap so RP people have to play defensive to prove someone's attempt to debunk strong assumptions.

The point of AWALT is not to typecast women, it's to be aware of the common behavioral traits women have that they'll never tell you about.

Good examples include that women are more attracted to your looks, money, and status than they are your personality, and they will leave your ass if you lose what originally attracted her to you (lost your job, got fat, etc...)

Modern culture pushes a narrative about women. They are sugar and spice and everything nice. Nice girls don’t do certain things, like crave a good ONS with a hot guy. Nice girls would never leave their good and faithful man. men are the ones who do the cheating, women are the victims.

AWALT means that those so called nice girls are just as human as the bad girls and the men.

'All women are like that' are words thrown by men in certain groups who are just bad at meeting women. They meet women in bars, night clubs, OLD, cold approaches in streets, offices, and wonder to themselves why the women they meet that way (and with a certain method too!) tend to be of a certain personality type.

It's like people wondering why people who do outdoors rock climbing tend to be muscular, strong and in great shape. Or why people in video game hobby groups tend to be out of shape, shy and lack social skills.

Not all women are like that but they can't, and just don't bother, meet women who aren't like that.

You're the one being vague. In what context do you disagree with the claim AWALT? AWALT is not just a phrase thrown around without context. It can be correct or incorrect depending on the context. You can say awalt in the context of talking about gold diggers (claiming all women are gold diggers). That would be an incorrect statement. You can say awalt when talking about attraction to masculinity (claiming all straight women are attracted to masculinity). That would be a correct statement.

Simply saying "awalt is wrong" is a nonsensical statement. It's like saying " 'never give up' is wrong". It can be correct or wrong depending on the context. By itself it means nothing.

I don't think it's the women's role to debunk this, seeing as it's a buzzword thrown around in communities that are made for men, by men, and those men congregate in those spaces and pretty much refuse to debate with women about their ideas. It's like me saying, as a guy, that FDS's HVM and LVM ideas are wrong. It doesn't matter to the FDS crowd, they'll just screenshot my opinions, make fun of me and then ignore me.

That being said, AWALT actually did have some logic behind it. All women do share some similarities (exceptions do exist). But it's been diluted to a point where anyone who has some bs opinion can just throw AWALT around, and there will be a crowd that will agree with them.

I'm not about to list anything, I'll let the redpillers do that work. All I can say is that I have met women who are the exception to every single trait AWALT makes women out to have. And also, y'all ladies can do nothing but laugh at the notion. AWALT is probably not one of those things that you can debate about, because it does not have a foundation based on good faith.

"Like that" as in, however a dude got treated on a bunch of bad dates or however he got rejected for whatever reason, that's the norm. It's contextual and a thing you have to experience to really get as an idea, regardless of if it's right or wrong.

"Like that" basically means that if you've had a bunch of shit dates and relationships with different kinds of women who did a bunch of stuff, that's just consistently how people are and your best bet is to manage rather than hoping that if you keep repeating the same patterns you'll find someone who has no overlap with all those negatives that are so common.

Obviously since this is framed as a negative a lot of people will deny it, even while also doing the exact sort of behaviors that are individually described. So it's also really hard to actually nail down even if individual traits do get listed.
