I can't say this enough: predatory men LOVE women in trouble. Never, ever date when you're having a hard time.

It's not just the obvious creeps either. I was a teen when men started openly bragging to me that they prefer insecure women because "they're easier to control and won't leave me." Men have bragged about this to me.

This didn't make sense to me for years, because I believed men were operating from the same morality I was.

Healthy men want women in a good place. There's something wrong with men who are attracted to you for your brokenness. Those guys are predators who want to come into your life like a tornado and break you some more.

A week ago, I would’ve needed eyebleach after reading this, but after seeing two posts of men wanting women to essentially serve as sex slaves, clean their houses, AND pay them rent - one guy wanted $450, the other one wanted $900 - seeing a guy who at least isn’t demanding rent, cleaning services, or for you to give him sex whenever he wants is a step up. 😂 A week ago, I would’ve thought it was entitled for the man in this post to feel the need to tell you that you won’t be babysitting as if that needed to even be stated - then I saw posts where the men explicitly stated they expect you to be submissive & be ready to bend to their will (particularly in regards to sex), so hey, at least this guy is explicitly stating what he doesn’t expect you to do.
