As far as I am concerned the wall means something along the lines of where a woman isn’t sexually desireable anymore to a man. Since it’s said that a woman hits the wall at 30, I wonder if it maybe means not desireable as a dating partner.

Most women I know that are 30 look like a 20 year old would do, though of course it is with 30 aging starts. But even so, say things like dryer skin which I guess is the first sign of aging occuring in the 30s can be treated. I still have a hard time understanding exactly what features would together make up the so called wall. When is a woman considered to have hit it?

Lastly I have some thoughts. A 45 year old woman is approaching menopause, and likely has teenage children. Her role in society is quite different to that of a young woman searching to ”attract mates”. Of course she will not be as ”attractive” in the pure sexual sense. And say someone that is 65 has her own charm, but why use a word that somehow implies it is sometjing wrong about a woman reaching the ”crone” rather than ”maiden” phase of her life? Likewise, while men can have some more sexual appeal in an older age compared to women, clearly younger men look more attractive than a man that is 45 or 65. But humans are supposed to age, what’s the point of shaming people for it?
