Okay this is going to sound bad, but I'm curious. I'm just going to lay the facts out there even though it sounds like I'm judging.

I went on a date with this single mom who lives in a low income town. We met at an ice cream shop and convo seemed like it was flowing pretty well. We were just getting to know each other.

During the convo she asked if I was close with my family, and I said "yeah I am.'' Then she tells me she's currently living at home with her mom to save money since everything is so expensive. I said "hey me toooo, I'm currently living at home saving up as well."

As soon as I said that, her smile turned into a 1000 yard stare and she left 5 minutes later and unmatched.

I obviously can't read her mind, but it seems like me living with parents was a deal breaker in this situation. So here is my question:

In my mind, me and that woman were equals. We were both working class people and both lived with family. But instead of her being okay with dating an equal, she instead wants a man who owns his own place and is nestled in a career. So she rejects me and continues her pursuit trying to find that.

In my mind I think "what established dude wants to date a broke 6.5/10 single money who just likes him for money?"

So here is my question: does dating traditionally workout for women like her? Like will she have an easy time meeting someone that's willing to take her in while I stay alone? In other words, does a 6 have an easy time meeting a 8 man?

Or will she struggle with dating like I am looking for what she wants.
