The number of stories detailing how after a kid or two, their wife turned on them blows my mind. It started with mine as well. First, they start nagging you about basic chores like dishes, how you clean baby bottles, etc. Fights start over smaller things. Then they cut off sex and after numerous conversations, you just have no options but deal with it, cheat, or divorce.

I’m considering divorce - in my situation my kids are 4 and 2 and we’ve maybe had sex 5-10x since my first kid was born. At first it started with nagging over the tiniest shit. Then it blew up to full on disrespect in public. I’m realizing I think she got what she wanted - someone with what she perceives as good genes to give her kids and raise them until they’re old enough. Now it’s like her nature is trying to eject from me and she doesn’t know why.

I’m not perfect, but I do my fair share with the kids and the house. I’m in better shape than I’ve ever been at 14% body fat at 6’1. Most people think I’m fun to be around and I had zero issues with women in college or after. If I’m not attractive to her anymore, I could find someone else quickly, which I may.

Any of you guys know why this is? Is it just the nature of men and women’s relationships? Seems like 3-7 years of marriage and the number of divorces are really concentrated in that range.
