Is it anyone else's experience that literally every woman you've ever known by name is dating or has a partner? I feel very gaslit by responses about how I'm "only noticing the pretty girls" when not only is that not true for me, but both of my only LTRs were with women who would not be considered conventionally attractive or even fit. there was about a post yesterday in the daily thread about how incels obsess over "young love" (especially in highschool) and missing out on it. Then another user mentioned that college is even better and I actually agree with this.

But that got me thinking that it's not actually highschool/college that's making things "better", but the fact that you have no job and less responsabilities. I don't know about you, but I had way more free time in college than I had after I started my job. Sure, once I had a job my free time was more predictable (evenings and weekends were 90% free), but it was less way free time.

As an example, I met my wife in college, but I am two years older so I started my career 2 years earlier. During the 2 years where I worked and she didn't, my job schedule was way more a limiting factor for planning things with my my wife (then my girlfriend) than any college related activity she was doing.

I am not saying that my curent relationship with my wife is bad, but it's different (in 95% better ways), but in college the relationship was more "let's go with the flow".

It's crazy to me that there are adults out there who don't have at least $20k+ saved (for a single person) or $40k+ (for a family). That's basically the bare minimum for one year's of expenses plus unexpected expenses. Lol she then spat on me and headbutted me.

I spun her around and held both arms against her from the back with my arm around her head.

Finally I stopped tryna hold back and restrain her. I grabbed the back of her head and drove her head right into my knee and smacked her on it then let go.

I then raised my fist to show her I would punch her if she in fact continued with her shit. She wised up.

I could've avoided all of that by just smacking her with some man level strength the second time she hit me.

You can't always restrain a girl attacking you. Now I'm not condoning violence you should never hit someone just cause of what they're saying.

But in self defence you can use reasonable force to stop your attacker.

The Walmart shooting in Chesapeake has me beyond heated right now. I work at the company, and I am 99.9% sure of why the manager went on a rampage: he was likely overworked (12hr, 6 day work weeks), and his job position was being threatened.

I won't even get a Thanksgiving dinner because I won't make it to see my family in time; I work till 11pm and go back in around 4am, no time for travel. Yet the CEO does a $20B buy back, my regional manager is on vacation in a multi-million dollar resort (though no one in-store is allowed to take vacays in the months of November and December), and my market manager is clamoring for us in-store managers to send associates home to spend time with their families, even though I can't see mine. I'm so frickin' pissed.
