I went for karate class today and it got me thinking… why does trp recommend lifting and not some martial arts?

I think martial arts can help with self discipline, meditation, and somehow strength training feels like more power without direction.

In martial arts you have hierarchy, sparring, etiquette, respect, self control, modesty, etc. in a lot of ways it’s more holistic. You get the lean muscular body that most girls like while in gym you end up optimising too much for strength.

On Saturday i stayed up all night drinking jack daniels then got hosed down with cold water at a frat house in my underwear for two hours. Sunday I ran a half marathon on 3 hours of sleep, and then I was locked in a room overnight with Britney Spears “Toxic” blasting on loop over and over and with strobe lights flashing to keep us from sleeping. We then had to run again today at 7. I haven’t slept in almost 32 hours and I am about to crash. It is currently 11:45 please god let me wake up later

So I just looked it up and found out what Chris Rock actually said, something about Jada's newly buzzed hair. She has medical struggles, including alopecia at the very least. I've lost a loved one to cancer.
