How would you know about life in the 30s,40s,50s and what was in the heads of women wearing make-up then?

I’ve seen this sentiment from men a lot. Men on this sub. Men IRL. Men on other parts of the internet.

When women talk about the feelings of women from the past, men like that act shocked and start saying silly things like “how old are you 100?”

Do men not talk to their elders? Girls grow up talking to their mom, aunt, grand mom, great grands, great aunts, etc.

They pass down stories. They share their lives. We ask them questions. They answer honestly.

Do boys not do this? If so, why do they always pretend to be shocked “well how do you know how she felt!???” Because they told us! Or our great grand told us how her mother or aunts felt.

On my first Reddit account I used to just say random shit to piss people off. No rhyme or reason just bored during the pandemic and wanted to cause some chaos. Well I commented some things on a incel tear post and I got a DM from one of the female users.

This reminds of a sales management book I once read. The story was about a VP of sales who had joined a fledgling tech company in Boston and after a year or so on the job, trying to grow revenue and get a foothold in the market, he decided that it was time to scale up the sales team.

So he took inventory of his most successful reps, created job ads that listed their best qualities and asked HR to post the ads on different job sites. Within a couple of weeks they had received 300 resumes. Out of those, the VP whittled them down to 50 and after phone screens invited a dozen or so for live interviews.

At the end, he ended up hiring exactly no one! They all sucked! And then the VP had a realization:

"Quality sales people aren't out there working on their resumes and interviewing. They are too busy winning at their current jobs and if they move around, it is usually through referrals from old bosses, clients of theirs, or hearing about opportunities through their trusted network".

So the protagonist took a different approach and instead of posting job ads for randos to apply to, he hired recruiters and headhunters who would try and poach quality sales people from other companies, enticing them with commission plans and opportunities to blow it out of the water.

So, what does any of this have to do with cold approaching! Well, everything! Cold approaching is akin to someone sending resumes basically unsolicited. Why would someone resort to a cold approach? Well, let me enlighten you. It shows that you have no other options. You have no other sources of meeting women. This tells a prospective woman that you may not be a quality partner.

This matters because the first thing women are trying to suss out about you is whether you are in demand by other women. And they take little clues from you to figure out if you are or if you are not. Randomly running after a woman on the street so you can stop her and tell her you noticed her from over there, kind of says this about you "I'm desperate to meet women, because I have none in my life, nobody wants me, so I have to resort to desperate measures such as this."

At one point, I myself struggled with job interviews. I kept getting rejected, so I reached out to a more experienced friend of mine to get his perspective. He asked me what happens during an interview and I told him: they usually ask me why I want to leave my previous job and I tell them the truth - it sucks, my management doesn't care, they demand too much, etc. Of course, my friend ended up scolding me and saying: "YOU SHOULD NEVER RESPOND LIKE THIS. EVEN IF YOU FEEL ITS SINCERE".

He advised me instead of being negative when replying to questions such as "why do you want to leave your company and come work for us" to say stuff like "Actually, I'm very happy where I am. I love my team and my company, but I came across your position by accident and it sounded intriguing. So I took a look into it and your company and figured out I'd be stupid not to learn more about this great opportunity".

In other words, you can still apply for a job but do it from a position of power. Instead of interviewing because you NEED job and because you hate your current one, you are interviewing because the new job sounds like an amazing opportunity, but of course...you are in no rush to leave your current job.

So, if you've made it this far, you will be awarded with the best advice you will ever received about the subject of meeting women. Based on the job hunt analogy, your best bet to meet new women is the following.

Focus on living your life to the fullest and excelling at your purpose and mission in life. A man who is actively involved in life is more attractive than one who is out there looking for women to date because he needs them to make his life meaningful.
Instead of dreading being single and looking to escape it (I hate my job, my boss sucks), learn to embrace single hood. Look for the positives - you are free, you can do whatever you want, you don't have to be responsible for another person, you don't have to check in with anyone. If you hate being single, then you will be desperate for a companion and nothing turns women off more than desperation.
If you are open to new opportunities (aka meeting new women), then you want to put yourself out there where the recruiters can approach you. This means going to social functions, going out to bars and clubs and concerts. Trying new things. But instead of randomly approaching women out of desperation, be on the look out for signs of wanting to be approached or even better, just socialize with women without an outcome in mind other than having fun and getting to know new people.
As you do this, women will see you as a guy who is busy enjoying his life and is having fun, and NOT a desperate lonely guy that no one wants. If they are intrigued by you, they will give you signs that they want more. Then it's up to you whether you want to take a deeper look into this "opportunity" and decide if it will make your life better OR not. You are in no rush. If you do enjoy your single life, bringing a woman into it has to be a net benefit for you, otherwise why do it.

This is how you become a man who is being pursued by women as opposed to a desperate loser who is trying to chase after uninterested prospects.

Police refuse to charge my ex-girlfriend.

*About a year and a half ago my ex-girlfriend and I were doing some bondage where I was restrained to the bed. She was on top and removed the condom against my wishes, refused to get off, and made me finish inside her.

I reported her to the police the next day. They conducted some investigations which went on for several months. Interviews, photos of bruising on my crotch etc.

It transpired during this time that she was pregnant. Given that, on every other occasion, I have finished in a condom it is almost certainly a result of what happened that afternoon.

The police have ultimately decided that it is not in the public interest to charge my ex girlfriend due to her having a young child.

Additionally, she has opened up a Child Maintenance case against me. The CMS are now asking me to pay £429 per month for the next 18 years.

That's £92,600 minimum.

The CMS won't listen when I tell them what happened and send them the police reports.

The police won't charge so I can't take things forward.

Help.*

I feel a lot of male man camaraderie on this sub but one of the things I still try to wrap my head around is the blokes here who call for a way to chemically castrate themselves so they don’t lust after female women anymore after struggling dating/getting a gf.

Women who are not healthy (19-21 BMI) do not deserve to complain about dating or pretty privilege.

They aren't suffering from being ugly or being treated poorly due to looks. They're being treated differently for not being healthy. All women have pretty privilege

The proper protocol for a woman who isn't healthy who complains isn't to sympathize. It is immoral to sympathize with her because it will give her a way out of the responsibility and power she has. She doesn't have any real excuse for why she isn't succeeding. The proper protocol is to invalidate her feelings and tell her she can easily be healthy. She has full control over whether she is treated well by her choice to be healthy or not.

Invalidating a woman's feelings is empowering to her. It will help her understand that she has a lot of control over her results and that her failing to succeed is a sign of severe incompetence that can easily be fixed if she did the bare minimum to be healthy.

Women have so much privilege and are capable of so much and could be so healthy if they just tried.

I think I'm done ranting about women. I believe I've already started doing that for a couple of days now. I don't know, something in me out of nowhere clicked. Maybe because there's just so many times you can complain about the same topic. Idk.

I just don't care about dating anymore. I have no desire to try anymore. At most, I still feel sad about never having a relationship but it's usually a "it's just whatever" feeling now. one of the craziest things about college for me is having access to wealthy people and those who are “high status” or going to be high status. i have a friend who’s the daughter of a rock legend. i know someone else who’s brother is a very known nba player. met famous football players. i know multiple influencers. all of my boyfriend’s friends have parents who are wealthy, even some who are millionaires. i had someone who’s currently an nba player try to date me. college is such a wild place because you can really network with so many people if you play your cards right.

First time got a TGTG bag from a grocery store. It's a risk as you can get some things with expired dates, but it was a hit. I payed an equivalent for ~4$ dollars and got food for around ~20$. 3 packages of fancy cookies that are 1-3 weeks beyond their best date, a package of cheese which is perfectly fine, a pack of salad and some apples and tomatoes.
