My man put it on our covered patio and sanded it out a little at a time every time he took the dogs out to poop, lol. Then he put a hand-rubbed oil finish on it using a blend of beeswax and coconut oil. I think it turned out really nice!

I teased him that I came up with the harebrained idea, he did all of the actual work and now I'm taking credit for it. That's how we roll!
