Answering as a woman, if my partner were doing this, I'd prefer not to know. However, I doubt that's been the case since most of my female friends and colleagues are married moms who are not the most conventionally attractive.

Though, the idea of my partner fantasizing about me when we're apart (I travel for work at times) is kind of hot and I would very much encourage that behavior. Is it possessive? Maybe, but I'd rather they do that than fantasize about a stranger.

If my partner is doing that then I would find it disgusting and I literally discovered my ex husband doing that. The woman he was 'friends' with on FB had a habit of letting it all hang out the front in every pic. Interestingly, he would have taken issue with me doing that in profile pics.
