I’ve noticed two main contradictory views of men who subscribe to RP/Manosphere beliefs.

  1. That if a woman doesn’t sleep with you almost instantly, she isn’t interested, she’s stringing you along, you should cut and run.

I think this is a harsh line as many people prefer to build up trust/connection first but whatever, you can stop seeing someone for any reason you like.

However, the contradiction is these men also say they don’t want a woman who’s had casual sex/ONS. If a woman sleeps with you on the first date, odds are you aren’t the first man she’s done that with.

A woman who only has sex in committed relationships will have that same process for you. It’s not lack of attraction, it’s simply needing that emotional investment and trust first. We are not men with tits, many women are just wired this way.

This is a case of these men getting so caught up in their ego, they indulge in this fantasy of a woman who’s beside herself with lust exclusively for him and no other man. Which is what it is - a fantasy that doesn’t translate to real life.

  1. Wanting a woman with “traditional” values who will also be happy to split bills and expenses.

I get it, cost of living isn’t what it was for our parents generation, the majority of people need 2 incomes to run a household.

It just means that if you want the true “traditional” dynamic, you need to be making decent money relative to where you live so that your partner can be a SAHM.

If you split bills/mortgage with your spouse, you’re a modern man. In the US, around 16% of women are the sole/primary breadwinner and 29% of couples are egalitarian.

More so, these contradictory views set men up to always be feeling short changed by women by having these double standards and expectations dictated by their ego.
