I think you are right but this “fact” makes me physically sick.

That's why they say "red pill is bitter one"

For your own sake, do not feed the bitterness, learn to accept it and move on.

I almost puked thinking of how much I’d have to change. No provider traits?

Here I was aiming for alpha provider but then you make a great point. That won’t help if I want to do some casual dating and get experience.

For casual sex no provider traits. And do not feel like you are using them... you are basically giving them what they want.

Good part is that only the core of all women is the same, there are women out there which are totally worth it.

And some casual dating will help you grab one of those women if that's what you want.

And don't feel bad about "using" women for casual sex, you are just giving them what they want.

It just sucks… I really hope all this stuff isn’t true.

I'll just copy my old comment.

Love. Loving and being loved feels great, gives you lots of these good neuromediators that turn you all warm, fuzzy and happy.
Partnership. Having common plans and working on them together can be more efficient than working on everything alone. You also have someone to rely on in case of emergency.
Companionship. You have someone to share good and bad times. Watching films, playing games, just walking around with a person you love makes everything better. And their company makes hard times more bearable.
Friendship. Most if nor all benefits of friendship you can think of you get from being in loving and caring romantic relationships as well.
Sex. It's great to have almost 24/7 access to someone who genuinely finds you sexually appealing and wants to be intimate with you. Also with time you learn what each of you likes, you open up to each other and your sex life becomes better.
Security. No, not all people want to constantly hop from one relationships to another, some actually like stability and deep emotional bonds that take time to create and develop.
Financial reasons. It's usually cheaper to live with someone else and if you both work, you can afford to live in a better apartment/have somewhat nicer lifestyle etc.
Kids, if you want any. It's better for them to be raised in a full family and it's easier on parents this way.

I think there are legitimate reasons to believe that male sexual inequality may be increasing. But putting that aside, there's an interesting competition between whether technology taunts or satisfies the sexually disenfranchised male.

It's quite possible that the real problem is that men who struggle sexually and romantically effectively have their faces rubbed in their failure. Just like poor people are now intimately exposed to the lifestyles of the rich via digital media, so too are the sexually poor. Every song, video, magazine add, TV show, billboard, movie etc. just glorifies lots of novel and amazing sex with beautiful people. Not just the sex, but the overall erotic and romantic thrills of it all.

On the other hand, the ability of porn to satisfy these sexual urges might eventually win out over the amplification of these urges. Man, society is so fucked up.

I think the whole 'women vs. men' and who has it easier thing can be fixed by better information. Guys are just wrong. Women don't really have an easier time overall because we are comparing apples to oranges in some ways. Women are also innately harder to satisfy.

The anger that is harder to appease would be this sense that women are not as committed as men to finding a way to bring men and women together in wide spread monogamy as much as men. It's the idea that women are leaning into standards that will make it so that many men remain single, rather than trying to figure out how to fix this. It's the idea, justified or not, that secretly women feel that there is and should be a large number of men who are not good enough to reproduce, and that the current situation is just the beginning of a reversion to what is truly normal and natural--that pairing up a lot of lower tier men with women was always unnatural and required society to force this at women's expense. The idea that average and below men are not really the equal of average and below women.

Of course, women may actually feel this way. And this may actually be true. But wouldn't stop it from infuratiating a lot of men.

Good point. There is a lot of that going on, though we also do get to see the lives of those who really are super sexually successful. And of course, it isn't just about sex, per se.

I was just watching Taylor Swift's first video, Tim McGraw, about one of those summer romances in high school between the high school elite. I was not one of those romantic elite in HS; it was a nightmare for me. I remember being so envious of those people who had relationships with other attractive people. But I had better luck at later periods in life, and I'm 50 now. So normally I do not think about this or give a fuck.

But you see a video like that and even at 50 you suddenly feel this burst of intense anger and regret, like you have been deprived of some seminal and irreplaceable experience in life that everyone is supposed to have. It's totally irrational, but you feel cheated and fucking angry at someone, you don't know who, for having somehow stolen something essential to your happiness as a human being.

They’re saying what I said.

Imagine the common scenario of guys online complaining about women in male dominated spaces.

Their reaction is a preemptive rejection. They don’t want to include the women into these spaces because they know there is a high likelihood of the women not sleeping with them.

Instead what they do is criticize and insult women.

Consider the fact that when the Jonas brothers, Justin Bieber, and twilight were all popular there were grown men making fun of these things despite the demographic being young women.

Women are often criticized for their interests.

There is a study that shows that women appreciate benevolent sexism, that is when men are chivalrous and kind.

The truth is, being nice to women is actually why works, it’s that guys don’t know how to not internalize rejection and they let it make them bitter.

I guarantee you even the guys you view as "Chad" get rejected from time to time even if it happens less often

Almost started crying at a house party last night. I find it so difficult to connect with people and feel like I belong. Even when around my friends who I think care about me, I just can’t get out of my own head and enjoy the moment. These feelings of isolation and loneliness just creep back in again and again no matter what I do. I can’t go round this cycle for the next 60 years.

Maybe this is the root cause of my 22 year old girlfriend-less virginity. An inability to feel genuinely connected. A propensity for loneliness. The way I can feel alone in a room full of people honestly makes me suspect I may be autistic or somewhere on the spectrum. I’m sure everyone has issues, but most of them seem to be able to keep it isolated and have genuine fun when they go out. I can’t. My issues- my loneliness follows me everywhere.

Sort of, I am in a relationship with a woman I care for deeply and consider my best friend. Our relationship might be described by some as codependent but I don’t think we could survive without each other. I mean, of course we’d live, but being without the other would be incredibly traumatic.

I cheated on her a lot for the first 7 years of our relationship but as I worked through my own emotional issues I realized how much I love her and my infidelity was a way to suppress my insecurities and vulnerabilities.

In regards to what you’re describing I can relate. It was easy for me to have the kind of rough sex I enjoy with her and then text other girls behind her back.

But once I let my guard down it became really difficult to have sex with her because I didn’t know how to not weaponize sex.

For me sex was something I did to someone as a way to validate my masculinity, but the idea of having sex with someone to express our bond and love is something I’m still learning to do

I'm dating myself here. But back in the days of early PPD, the women here tried to use the Mosuo as a gotcha for matriarchies. I looked into it once. It turns out the "matriarchy" existed because a stronger neighbor enforced it to keep them under their thumb. Which makes sense. Having women in control keeps a demographic weak. This can be seen in the pseudomatriarchies found in some Afro-Caribbean and African American communities.

I would assume the goal there was similar. Have the women lead (or in a pseudomatriarchy/gynocracy) to keep people weak, subservient, and easier to control. It prob wasn't the only method, but probably among a parcel of things to keep people down. I wouldn't be surprised if what happened in the AA community was also directly enforced similar to how the situation of the Mosuo was enforced.

Alright, so guys who refer to women as plates are too far gone, also men don't need to have sex to live. Would anyone else here describe themselves as a sex addict? There was a post asking why people in successful relationships would frequent spaces like this.

The truth is I’m addicted to cracking the code of how to attract women. I use women allowing me access to their bodies as a way to satisfy my need for validation. This all stems from being rejected a lot when I was going through puberty. I want to be the perfect man like a Ryan Gosling type, I want women to lust after me, but I’m usually not interested in reciprocating that love because I also want women to be mad at me. I like the simultaneous feeling of shame and power I get from being exposed as a fuckboy. This idea that a woman likes me despite me hurting her.

I think I have BPD because my brain is really messed up with the way I view relationships and my fear of rejection and not being good enough

As a person who struggled with a lot of mental health and self image issues I chose a lot of guys to sleep with who I would also find disgusting, but as a teenager I found myself disgusting so it just made sense to give myself to men so I could be validated. You know how they say men just want a hole? I just wanted a dick. I didn't care if you were fat or gross and afterwards I never wanted to look at you or talk to you again because I was ashamed of sleeping with someone who was "gross" to me.

If I could go back and tell these guys how I really felt it would be like "I find you disgusting" and I wouldn't have slept with them, but at the time I was mentally unhealthy and using these men to feel better about myself. It has nothing to do with them, and it's not validating to be used in any shape or form. It's not validating to be used for someone else's validation. If your an attractive man and women want to sleep with you because you turn them on it's one thing. You sound like a person who doesn't understand what mental illness does to a person. Of course it can be validating. Even if you want to just discount my opinion because I'm inexperienced, you can't discount the perspective of the other guy you were responding to. He said he used to struggle and was rejected a lot but now that he's getting sex from women he feels validation. He's been on both sides and he's literally telling us he feels validation from it.

It would still be more validating than never having sex at all. Would it be long term validation? Probably not but short term yes, and in some cases it can be the boost guys need to not feel insecure about being inexperienced anymore like a burden is lifted. Kinda like how its easier to get other jobs after you get something on your resume.

This scenario also isn't relevant because the guy you were responding to didn't just get laid once, he on an ongoing basis is finding women who are willing to have casual sex with him. So yes he is being validated unless your opinion is litterally every girl he gets with thinks he's ugly and will accept any random dick.

There might be some women like you who have a "dick is dick" mentality but overall thats not the case and women do not typically have low standards on physical attraction for casual sex.

We had a misunderstanding. I was making a generalized point about "validation" not specific to the person I was responding to. If many women sleep with him, it's likely that he is attractive because the number of women who are so insecure and mentally ill that they would sleep with anyone, is probably pretty low since women seem to know their value now. It only took me like 1.5 years of this for me to realize I could have standards and I stopped sleeping with men I didn't find attractive real quick once I had that realization that I was not worthless and i needed to be used to be validated as a human. You are right abt how it can give that validation temporarily but having been the girl who had to dump and reject men after I already slept with them because of that shame, I can tell you it did fuck with them nd it did make them upset too. It sucks all around bc of course in that moment they felt good but it doesn't last forever. Your right abt your comment you just misunderstood the general point I was making. Basically saying that BPD is BPD no matter what gender.

And that makes sense but yeah the point overall is that BPD/sex addiction/sex for validation isn't really a "gendered" thing but you hear me I got over it once I realized it was not validating. The OP as other says coming from a scarcity mindset so he absolutely should and can feel validated. Just the same way it's validating for a woman to be chosen as a relationship for a Chad/alpha. I think basically my point is fairly moot but just that I relate in a way to wanting to be validated but once I realized I didn't have a scarcity mindset (I came from an all girls school so obviously the number of men I interacted with was really low) it changed everything about how I perceived things. Here is where we talk past each other. All people, rich or poor need food and shelter. For lots of women though, sex is just not an immediate need like food or shelter. You might as well substitute peanut butter or nice carpeting. To a woman’s mind, peanut butter and carpeting are great but they are not “food and shelter”. If women needed sex as much food and shelter, it would be a very different world.

I think it is hard for many women, especially low libido women to relate to the fact that men, especially young men, do indeed think about sex all the time. We just don’t. We are hormonally different. It is what it is. What you are seeing is just two sides that don’t understand each other and can’t relate because we have different needs. You think women don’t see the struggles of men because they are handed “food and shelter “ and take it for granted. In reality, women are handed sex because they need it much less. It’s simply supply and demand.

Yes. Women take credit for the so called "empathy" that women display. Typically, it is usually the bitchiest women talking about how women are more empathetic than men as well. It is a way to excuse their own bitchiness by taking credit for the empathy supposedly displayed by women as a whole.

However, the current generation of women has shown that women are NOT naturally more empathetic than men. The "studies" that women try to use to prove their point only shows that previous generation may have followed that paradigm. I personally think that the "patriarchy" trained women to be empathetic, if those studies are to be believed. Because honestly, women left to their own devices suck. Women using "performative empathy" to look good is also a factor. We are now seeing how shitty women can be when they don't have men determining that they should be nice. God help us all.

I don't understand what the average woman brings to a relationship in the modern era due to their expectations and how bad modern women are.

Cleaning? They get angry if they have to do that and I can do it myself or just hire a maid.

Sex? Hookers are cheaper and because womens standards are so high they are not attracted to their partner and just starfish or treat sex like a reward or transactional thing instead of an expression of love.

Cooking? Most can't cook and I can make my own meals.

Companionship? Most don't have a tolerable or pleasant enough personality to where I want to spend time with them in fact I would say this is the category modern women fail the hardest at.

Love? Women don't seem capable of it like men are instead for them it seems either transactional or lust based.

Money? Women spend more than men expecting a higher lifestyle and expect my money to be our money and her money to be her money.
