No. I tend to attract extremely religious, conservative men, that want to get married and have children.

I'm an alternative, counter culture, atheist, marriage free, and childfree individual. The men that I'm most attracted to are typically already taken or just aren't romantically interested even if we share the same exact beliefs, values, and interests.

I think the conservative men just get obsessed because I give them attention. I'm the "wild" woman they just want to tame. I think their interest is primarily about cutting my wings off and getting a person like me to be docile and sit at their feet. I don't believe it's a genuine interest from most of them.

I mainly attract extremely reserved and introverted men that want to get married and have children. And they're uncharacteristically pushy and forward compared to how they typically conduct themselves.

It's frustrating as I'm an outgoing person and constantly meeting new and different people of all kinds. But I only attract the same exact type of man. I have no idea what it is about me that doesn't attract fellow social outliners romantically. I have plenty of friends that break the mold, but not many romantic prospects that do.

I date in a SMP where men presenting South/East Asian phenotypes are generally considered undesirable. However, I present a lot of characteristics desired by het women: fit, full head of (graying) hair, 5'10, financially stable, homeowner, social network, ect. As such, I get a lot of interest from women desiring these traits, but unable to secure them in a white guy. In general, this difficulty stems from the fact that they are struggling with a combination of physical weathering, obesity, financial instability, and raising multiple children alone.

My type is into me, thankfully. I like men in the upper 5-feet, lean but not scrawny, neither flabby nor visibly muscular, with warm expressive faces, deep voices, full lips, and big teeth. (I dunno why, I just think big teeth are hot, lol.)

No visible tattoos, no funky hairstyles, no facial hair besides possibly a short well-groomed scruff. I’m not super picky about clothes, but they have to fit properly and not be too flashy or trendy.

I’m roughly the girl you’d expect to see with a guy like that: Short and thin, normal/decent body proportions, long straight hair, cute face, big eyes. I dress in pretty plain but good-quality clothes, and I always wear jewelry and makeup. I’m attractive but not exactly “hot”. I like guys who are the same.

I was never into "bad boys" and actually found a sizable portion of kind guys I liked didnt like me back or like me enough. Alot of them went for dominant, bitchy women. I dont have a specific type physically so cannot comment on that.

Physically I don't really have a type. As long as a woman isn't facially ugly or obese, and is over 18 and under 30 (for context I'm 19) I will probably find her attractive. I'm 6'4 so don't have any hangups about height (although I've never met a woman taller than me in real life).

In terms of personality number one for an LTR is wanting to have a large family (4-5+ children, ideally as many as possible) as that's something I really want. Further to that I'd say compassion, sharing my religion or at least spirituality/an openness to it, an affection for children and animals, a sense of humour, liking the outdoors. Potentially music taste but that doesn't matter much to me.

Sexually I'm a switch and pretty kinky with a high sex drive so I'd say imaginative and with a higher than average libido is a preference. But that's a secondary concern for me.

Oh, and edit: no pill particularly but I'm closer to blue than red purely because of how reductive the latter tends to be, at least the blue pill acknowledges nuance.

Yes definitely. I’m a 34 yr old female with a pretty face and a decent body somewhere between slim and average. Also a divorced mom with 2 teenagers and a low stress job that supports a frugal lifestyle. Im definitely drawn to a particular type physically, and in my experience that type is pretty much always attracted to me as well, which I acknowledge makes me privileged in dating.

My type: Usually 10-15 yrs older than myself, shaved or completely bald head with a nice full beard (any color), and a larger body type that’s really pretty average. Not into gym rat muscles and not into super obese, but a little overweight with firm muscles underneath is good. A strong man with a little bit of a belly.

The challenge is finding a guy in my area who isn’t super religious, an insufferable redneck, or a Trump fanboy. After divorcing at 30, I spent a while on online dating sites, but instead of going on lots of bad dates, I weeded through the guys who initially caught my eye to see who could carry on text/voice conversations without waving any major red flags. It wasn’t difficult to have multiple guys that were interested enough to spend several days or weeks messaging back and forth. No pressure to get physical, no wasting anyone’s time or money. Just some fun flirty texts during the day and deeper conversations from my sofa in the evenings. That’s really the perfect way to date if the numbers are in your favor.

Luckily I hit the jackpot 3 years ago and found a guy who checks all the boxes and then some.

i come off very innocent and naive and have younger features, a youthful personality and big brown eyes. and i actually do tend to attract strongly protective men, not only as romantic interests but even as friends. guys who really want to look out for me, but also occasionally older men.

i also attract men with deep emotional pain for some reason. i do come off very nurturing, maybe that’s why.

as for looks, i notice it differs slightly based on my hair. my natural curls get compliments and atttention from more black/latino men, my braids get compliments from all types of men in general.

The disconnect: probably me being Asian in a 98% white town. I’m on the thin side of average, pretty quiet, and not curvy. Also being socially awkward and having a hard time differentiating between someone being genuinely attracted to me or seeing me as acceptable/fuckable. I’m a very giving and overly sympathetic person in relationships and tend to overlook things like financial stability, user behavior, etc.

I have several types. I adore petite women (I’m 5’5”), women with wavy dark hair and glasses, goth/alt/emo/metal/punk chicks, tall white women/bombshell blondes, women with pixie-cuts, Asian women, Latinas, and Middle Eastern women.

The types that are mutually attracted to me the most tend to be petite women, tall white women, Latinas, Asian women, and goth/alt/emo/metal/punk chicks. Sometimes, these demographics overlap. For the rest that are only marginally attracted to me right out the gate, usually I do well enough with picking them up that I can get to at least one date.

As far as where the disconnect comes from, I’m not sure. I chalk it up to women as individuals having their own unique preferences and while they do tend to find certain things universally attractive in men, that doesn’t mean it’s an automatic shoe-in with any one woman I want.

I know that there are many women within these demographics that just flat-out won’t like me or not feel any attraction to me no matter what, and that’s because I’m not their type. I’m totally okay with that, because if I’m not a “fuck yes” for her, then the relationship would probably be shitty and intimacy would feel like a chore. So, I do us both a favor and just let it be, because to try and force something would do us both a disservice. Just means that particular woman isn’t compatible with me, and why stick around wanting what I can’t have? I’d prefer not to torture myself like that.

These are things that describe myself or at least what I try to be and believe I am most of the time.

I don't plan on having kids so age doesn't matter too much. Younger or older is fine. I'm 40 btw.

I'm picky about who I get into a serious relationship with these days and this kind of woman, who basically has everything going on but is not full of herself, can be hard to find. It's hard to find a man like this too, of course. I try to be that man so I can get the woman I want.

My type is tall, clever, aware of their cleverness - but not too aware, great conversationalist, we’ll educated, and active. Above all, I want someone who is equally ‘nerdy’ but moves well in a variety of social circles, which I do. Physically I’m not especially particular, but I like kind eyes and a more slim build than a frequent gym goer. I like the look of muscles gained through sport or frequent activity rather than the hyper-toned gym look.

I’ve had an unusually strong record of attracting public school boys (for N American users, they’d be what you consider to be men who were privately schooled) who row; this is likely given my own uni and postgrad experience as well as my own hobbies. Other types who express interest are usually men in my field, which is very male dominated, who tend to be older than me and quite nerdy, shy STEM guys. I also tend to attract largely conservative men (I’m more of an old-school liberal) which I think derives from my mode of dress (fairly modest, and I do wear lots of skirts and/dresses for ease) or general mannerisms? I think I come across as quite soft spoken and traditionally feminine (with all that typically connotes) until I’m better known. Perhaps to echo what another user said above regarding the three Fs…

People who tend to be into me fall into two main types:
- Tall (1.9m and above as I am 1.8m), masculine, either social outdoorsy nerds or alternative metal/punk types (or both), intense and strong personality that initially clashes with mine but settles down after some time into a basis of mutual respect, typically adhd and somewhat autistic, straight, used to mostly taking care of/protecting others but longs to be able to fall back on someone else sometimes/to find peace and quiet in another person, basically someone similar to myself but gender-flipped.
- Shorter than me or about my height (1.6m-1.8 m), boyish more so than masculine with an almost feminine/soft side to them, sexually submissive, immense overlap in interests (mtg, bouldering, gaming, dnd, music...), interest is fundamentally sexual/romantic from the start while the one above starts from a friendship and grows from there, typically more introverted/lower energy, either physically weaker or at about my level strengthwise, the opposite of me in lots of ways.

I am into both types, but the former leads to very high satisfaction in anything but the sexual, while with the latter type I tend to feel like I can't be emotionally vulnerable myself and I don't fall as deeply in love. It also fundamentally feels different, more lust-based with the latter.

There is also a third type that doesn't seem particularly attracted to me, though it happens, but I find myself immensely attracted to:
- Musicians typically, physically active, cute face (typically glasses, messy hair), masculine but in a twinkish manner, socially outgoing/dominant, sexually submissive, typically somewhat emotionally disregulated (not sure why I tend to be attracted, but I try to be fair in my description), mostly gay-leaning (tend to prefer men in short).

The type I'm most physically attracted to is usually the type that goes to a lot of gigs and festivals and hangs around with guys a lot, usually musicians and tattoo artists and stuff - not my scene at all and this type of woman would never want me. There is also a more bookish nerdy type of this kind of woman but they are all already taken by guys who trump me in every way too.
