Why is the average woman allowed to be 30 - 40 pounds heavier now and men don't get the same privilege? Why do I have to be in military level shape to ask out a Bulging Becky? Are these women fit themselves? No, probably not. They don't feel the need to be.

There exists a sexual marketplace. The average guy has to work his ass off, have a good career, be fit, and funny, and outgoing, and have a LOT going for him just to qualify to APPLY to be the partner of the average Becky woman today. What does she bring to the table? A degree, and maybe a couple of kids. And she thinks SHE is the one marrying down! lolololol. So, the average guy has to ask himself if he wants to play in that marketplace. And even then, if he's a higher-level Beta Provider who qualifies for marriage, there is nothing saying she won't divorce rape him anyways.

If women want average men to put in the work to become viable partners, they should:

1, Admit they are presently okay with sharing Chad-dick among themselves.

Stop sharing Chad-dick among themselves.
Raze the divorce industry and family law courts to the ground.
Make it safe and reasonable for average men to want to invest in LTRs/marriage.

The latter is important because men are not putting in the effort to be "fit" partners (in the broader sense of the term 'fitness') because at the end of the day the RISK of the relationship is too high and the rewards pale in comparison.

Red Pill (and MGTOW) state that relationships (cohabitation, marriage) fail both cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment. Why "be the best man you can be" if being that man gets you no respect and doesn't insulate you at all from the divorce meat grinder and kangaroo bullshit family law courts?

If we're not forcing women to play the game the way we want them to play, why are we forcing men to change THEIR game? Let the market continue to decide.

I'm not sold on the premise that men are suddenly less attractive today than they were 15 years ago, at least not in ways that are unique to being male.

Women are also fat and boring. While porn is more accessible today than a decade ago, there is also way more of a health and fitness culture than has ever existed before.

Crossfit and gym culture are everywhere. In big cities obesity rates are significantly lower than average. Mental health is a serious topic in medicine now. Men still outearn their wives. Social movements like MeToo are barely 5 years old. How much has really changed?

I think we're all seeing nature working itself out in brutal fashion and ascribing causes to natural processes. I think women are default winners in sexual selection and men are default losers. Women have to be egregiously awful to fail. They're given allowances men could only ever dream of.

On the other hand, men can work themselves to the bone to achieve success in their career and still be a loser with women. He's a loser in multiple dimensions that he was never even aware of.

At a societal level there isn't anything that can be done. The system of enforced monogomy that we had before was the unnatural solution to this problem. The majority of men who would've been losers otherwise weren't losers under that system.

The real question to ask is when will the discourse start to be honest and acknowledge the natural state of man rather than trying to blame the victim?

I remember listening to a podcast that said older generations put a large weight into cultural appreciation for "character." Character encompasses self-respect, respect for others, courage, civility, and an appreciation for and adherence to ethics. Somewhere along (according to the interviewee) the way culture shifted to a utilitarian ego-centric rat race. The most praised and respected people aren't those who take sacrificial measures or adhere to a revered code, but those who put themselves first and clamber over the other bodies to the top.

A culture where men are expected to have character would:

Encourage fitness and dressing well (self-respect, reverence for others)
Encourage better treatment of women, especially with holding jackasses accountable
Encourage men to have strong boundaries, healthy hobbies, independence, a journey to manhood
Turn more men into men, and not grown boys.
Help develop healthier mentalities about sexuality (male sexuality is normal and healthy, but it's good to be smart about where it's channeled and how men view women)

Most importantly, forcing anything is dumb. It just won't work. The best and most effective changes come from understanding the value in the behavior and habit, and that comes with fostering an appreciation for building character.

I think we should foster a positive identity for masculinity that references the historical and mythological character of men. This would require us to be open to the ideal of male spaces, that we stop with the comfort-ethics babying that comes with utilitarianism and that we stop flippantly declaring various facets of masculinity toxic (there are other ways we can approach dealing with these traits).

At a larger level, we'd need to ask ourselves why society, perhaps even life itself, is so dissatisfying that the highs and escapism of unhealthy food, video games and pornography are so much more desirable than seeking self-actualization.

Personally, I think it's because capitalism is fundamentally at odds with human nobility, because the man who can say no, even when it might be unreasonable (in that worm-eye view of utilitarianism) to do so is hard to market to. So our economy with one hand strangles and destroys avenues of personal growth (turning the remaining ones into yet more economic activity where it can), even as it offers frivolity with the other.

What motive is there in this society to do anything except to shield yourself from suffering? It's not as though there's anything of meaning to strive for, and our prevailing ethic of comfort ensures that everything is rendered to its most contemptible. It's not as though these men will have real agency (beyond the radical freedom of self-ownership we all have) and the prize for stepping up and becoming a prospect is very probably going to be a woman just as addled, fat and addicted to frivolity as he once was.

There are a lot of assumptions here. One is that men have become a lot more unattractive in absolute terms in recent times. Another is that the absolute level of male attractiveness is as important as the relative level, i.e. how a man compares to other men. Finally, even if men have become less attractive in absolute terms, and this matters to women compared to a man's relative standing, women too have become equally less attractive. So we are basically saying it is OK for women to leverage their superior sexual bargaining power that results from more indiscriminate male thirst to force men to up their game while not improving themselves.

Personally, I think the growing imbalance is primarily a result of the electronic age widening everyone's pool for comparison. This impacts male desire for women, too. But due to hypergamy combined with their naturally greater pickiness, it impacts women more. A lot more. Moreover, society has started to value appearance as an actual status symbol for men more than ever. So women are selecting for male beauty now not just with their basic attraction to male fitness triggers, but their hypergamy instincts are also targeting male appearance as well, rather than more traditional criteria. I have one suggestion concerning physical attractiveness. Because lets be real, this is the most important aspect for both genders.

We need to push an agenda to make it socially acceptable for men to wear makeup, makeup-acceptance movement, if you will.

It's no secret that average plain girls can instantly become a 7/10 with a little makeup, it's an unfair advantage that heavily skews the dating market in the favor of women. To balance the scale we need to aim to push this male makeup-acceptance movement to the most mainstream of platforms. The systematic way to make men more attractive is to have less men (who are able to fuck). That's how we did it in the past, and that's how it works in some places today. That's why there's the whole 72 virgins thing in Islam. It's a way to get their extraneous males to go die -- by picking an enemy that can never be actually vanquished (America), the leaders ensured that they could always keep throwing their extraneous men into the meat grinder without it ever getting clogged and stopping.

We used to accomplish this through war and working fatalities. Men would return from war as corpses, or they would be maimed and unable to have sex as a result. Men would die in farming accidents, mining accidents, factory accidents, etc., or be crippled and unable to have sex. Now, war casualties aren't anywhere near what they were in the past and major wars between evenly matched powers are less frequent. We also have OSHA now so workplaces are way safer.

There's a lot of ways we can accomplish this. (All answers are America-centric. Some things might work outside of America but some won't.)

1) Drain the third world of their women. This can be done through a refugee policy that openly discriminates against men to the absolute maximum. We openly tell everyone that we only take female refugees and reject males, and we do exactly that -- if you've got a twat, we let you in, if you've got a dick, we send you back. Then we severely limit the amount of welfare that the refugees can get once they're here so local men are the most effective way for them to find shelter and food. Since most refugee women come from places where men are incredibly short compared to American men, a short man in America is average to them and an average American man is tall to them.

2) Encourage abortion of male fetuses. There's an ultra-radfem crowd out there that says things like "it's either a girl or an abortion" -- encourage those people. Change the welfare system to favor girls over boys (and to stop parents from forcibly transitioning their boys, trans girls don't count). This would be especially effective in the black community since they already get a lot of abortions and are open to getting them, and a massive percentage of black Americans receive SNAP/EBT, TANF, SSI and other forms of welfare. Poor whites are much less open to abortion so it would be less effective there, but there's nothing stopping black women from fucking white men.

3) Castrate violent felons/keep them locked up longer. 93% of prisoners are men (and specifically violent felons makes that % higher), and by castrating them we would cut off their T production. T is what makes them aggressive and drives them to commit violent felonies. By cutting that off, we stop them from participating in the SMP or having a sex drive, but we also remove their aggression so they don't reoffend once they're released. The important part here is that they won't be participating in the SMP while on the inside or once they're out, pushing the balance of the SMP in favor of men.

I'm not sure about a fat people tax. However, the percentage of people who are ineligible for military service is a huge national security issue. In the event of a draft, some of the requirements could be waived, such as certain tattoos and ear guages, GED/HS diploma, certain felonies, etc. Having weak bones and tendons due to a poor diet and being obese are not problems than an be solved in the timeframe that nee soldiers are needed. This is one of several reasons why Michelle Obama focused, rightfully, on school food and childhood diet.

So if you accept the problem needs to be addressed now, then one important tool you have to consider are incentives. If too many young people are not in a position to fulfill what we have decided is a social duty, then we need to either legislate or incentivize compliance. I don't see us legislating our way out of this so it needs to be incentives. This is where things like the fat tax on soda comes in.

Personally, I think the impact should be more direct. You meet some slimmed down eligibility requirements to be drafted? Great, he's a 5k tax credit per year. I know a lot of people who can't meet the eligibility requirements will complain, but in the event of a draft they're not putting your life on the line. If women lose their sexual leverage over men, men wouldnt have a need to try as hard and gain wealth. This would mean that ambitious man would become rarer and rarer.

Remember, poverty is a relative concept.

They got a hobby, a job and a life which made them ten times more attractive to the women around them. Well, rephrasing your problem as one of social economics you're basically asking on how to eliminate sexual poverty. You have some (male) members of society who are mostly worthless due to the amount of dick that is generally being offered and females who are completely over-priced in comparison.

If you wanted to make unattractive men (as) fuckable (as low value women) you would first have to decrease the supply of dick, like through a war that eliminates large parts of the population or simply through less dick being offered for example through a rise of asexuality among men (like through sinking T levels) or rising MtF Numbers.

Obviously this isn't at all realistic due to women generally seeming to prefer to share high value males over remaining sexless (although that is still preferred over low quality dick).

Great post! Finally! Ok government bans all forms of porn. Make it mandatory for everyone (being fair) to work out at least thirty minutes a day. Mandatory military training sounds amazing, I highly endorse this. Yearly checks with a Dr to see if you pass the test or else your health insurance goes up. Basically a fat people tax. Make it very difficult and expensive for them. Restrict gaming to only 10 hours a week. Other hours of the day must be used for reading books, socializing with people in real life, or doing something useful. Societal expectations of men having good hygiene, and style instead of looking and smelling homeless. Society should shame them for not conforming. Ban junk food, fast food, Mountain Dew, and everything else unhealthy because men just can’t be trusted to even drink water on their own. You just have to get rid of all other options besides healthy ones. I think this is the only way.

I will agree with some comments you have already lost a lot of goodwill with "unfuckable losers" being used to describe the average guy. I will admit that I am a little offended by this post.

Anyway, it sounds like you have not done much research on this kind of subject as your ideas would be laughed at. But I will say the only one that could work would be the mandatory military service but it may have some issues.

A solution would be to encourage guys to take up some team-based hobbies(ex: paintball, airsoft), coax them to do self-improvement, and encourage young men to be more masculine.

Also, what the hell do you think the average guy does all day? And what or who is your source?

The systemic problem is the surplus of men. Guys will man up if there are rewards, but a good portion of men are guaranteed to be excluded, which means there aren't enough rewards to go around.

The systemic solutions involve 1) monogamy and 2) reducing number of men.

Incentivize monogamy
- Prohibit contraceptives. No subsidized abortions.
- Withdraw welfare/child support for single mothers.
- Increase cultural shame on single mothers, sluts, and "spinsters"
Reduce number of men
- Ultimately, there is no way to deal with surplus men unless we accept that young men have to die at significantly higher rates. The "health and safety" helicopter parenting culture is actually harmful.
- Mandatory military/society service with high mortality for men 16-20. Dangerous grunt work like it used to be with no hard hats. This might kill off 1-2%. (Slightly more morbid idea: real world hunger game scenario: 1000 18-year old guys on an island. RIBs will pick them up when there are only 10 guys left alive.)
