Dunno, man.

My partner is 4 years older than me. He's a peer in my eyes, I'd have dated him the same if he was the same age as me. I didn't choose him because he was older than me. I chose him because I found him attractive physically and as a relationship partner. He would still be all this if he was my own age.

They see women date older men on average and therefore think women are attracted to older men. BUT: women want to date men who has their shit together. Often they're older, but that's not a hard/fast rule. And so the average age gap is perhaps a slightly older man.

I would not have dated my partner if he was spending his weekends partying, doing drugs, drinking excessively and living pay check to pay check. Not matter if he was my age or older.

I have my shit together. I want a partner that has his shit together. Most men my age happens to not have their shit together to a degree that I want -> easier to find a man that has his shit together if you also include somewhat older men. The preference isn't older men per se; the preference is men you don't have to babysit.

There seems to be a misconception about the concept of "frame" and how we red pillers use it. Even a lot of red pillers don't understand the term.

Holding frame doesn't just mean being stoic.

Say you have a co-worker and he wants to put you down for some reason. He asks you a lot of questions with the intention of making you look dumb and insecure.

To you it feels, and to outsiders it looks, as if he was a cop who is standing in front of you while you are sitting in the interrogation chair with a bright light shining in your face. That's the frame he establishes.

If you just sit there and take all his questions stoicly, you are still in his frame.

With self-esteem you could just be stitting there, unphased, and answer the questions with self-confidence. And draw boundaries by not answering some of the questions. Basically you'd show everybody that you win the interrogation.

You would be drawing boundaries and you would emanate self-esteem. But you are still in his frame.

If you control frame, the first thing you'd do is just stand up (figuratively). You deny him his frame (having you in the interrogation chair) and establish your frame (both standing and talking on eye-level. Or you might even push him in the interrogation chair). You don't allow him to be the cop, you don't accept being pushed into the interrogation chair.

Visualising it like this can be really helpful.

Many of my friends said something like "I wish I could come up with witty responses quickly. But I only think of them after the situation." And I tell them that if they feel like they need to come up with witty responses, they have already gone about it the wrong way.

There is nothing barring anyone from going out and trying to find people to employ them at a rate that allows them to pay for housing and healthcare. Nothing. And yet some people are homeless.

Except the cost of housing and healthcare. Which you can’t afford on a minimum wage salary.

There are structural and legal barriers that create and maintain income inequality. There are NO structural and legal barriers that prevent someone from dating (as long as they’re both of age).

You are taking an ideological stance on how much opportunity the world offers men and women in terms of relationships

No, you are…. It’s not the “the world’s” responsibility to get you laid or find you a girlfriend. That is on you.

It doesn't matter how easy you think it is to find relationships, some people fail consistently and others succeed with little effort.

And? Those people have a choice to 1) up their game, 2) lower their standards or 3) opt out. Welcome to adulthood.

PPD has discussed the structural issues ad nauseum. OLD proliferation, extreme filtering and high standards, etc., all make it harder to a random mediocre man. Just like how NIMBYism driving up real estate prices makes housing less affordable for a random working class person.

Structural and legal barriers are ultimately just people with power acting in their self-interest. Women have power in dating because men put out offers and women accept, so if women as a group will not leave the house unless the guy can take them out and pay the bill, that's a structural barrier to dating. It's not like you couldn't date at the park. Another analogy for dating barriers is employers demanding college degrees for entry-level jobs just because they are swamped with offers, even if a high school grad could do the job.

Your "woman up" is a non-sequitur, if there's inequality for women, it doesn't refute that there's inequality for men which was your initial refutation. Also my original comment said "people" not men.

It’s not nimbyism driving up real estate prices. What drives up real estate prices is 1) supply and demand, 2) interest rates, 3) the general health of the economy and 4) consumer perceptions of the above and the extent to which real estate is a profitable investment.

No it isn’t. Example: When cities create zoning laws that only allow the building of single family homes, that prevents people who can’t afford to buy a home in that community from moving there taking advantage of better schools and services.

The real issue here is 1) you don’t understand what equality actually is and 2) you don’t have a grasp on how American society works.

There is educational inequality in the US. If schools were all equally funded and resourced by qualified teachers and administrators, we’d have educational equality. We wouldn’t have equal outcomes, but what we would have in equal access to a pursue good education. Following me?

You have equal access to dating. You have equal access to pursue women. There won’t be equal outcomes but there is nothing standing in your way of pursuing women. That you fail at it — and your outcomes are not equal to Chad — doesn’t mean there is “dating inequality.”

It sounds like you’re objecting to having to date or approach or converse with a woman to get sex, so then all you want is her hole. I'm one of those people who has to be doing three things at once to feel happy in what I'm doing. So I was shitposting here, seeing patients, (and still am) and doing some research into boobs. Now I love boobs and look at them as often as I can but not that kind of research.

I was wondering how long we have been dependent on boobs for children. Right now you can raise perfectly healthy babies without breast feeding, the "leche league" arguments aside, but when did that become a thing?

I don’t think she was rich while she was working as a bartender. She’s possibly rich now. And again, her donating tons of cash to her personal grandmother doesn’t actually fix poverty, you know. Is feminism just a phase for young women to cling onto as part of a group identity and then grow out of later? Since most men aren't feminists and wouldn't actually identify as one aside from "yeah, sure babe..," I can't imagine older women who are straight and married to be outspoken feminists in front of their partners.

People in these situations might support the group because their partners do, but they don't actually support the group on their own. For example, if I was in a relationship, I'd want my partner to have access to things that would make her happy or more comfortable, if she really wanted them, but I couldn't care less about whether or not other women get those same things.

Another thought I have is if younger women wanting potential boyfriends to be feminists has anything to do with the expectation that men are supposed to be a woman's "right hand man," if you know what that is.

Lots of people don't have such as sensitivity to the word feminism. Most people take that as "supports women's rights and causes". The men in my life would call themselves feminists because they want to help women where they are currently disadvantaged at. The only people that ever told me feminism is somewhat bad is people on the internet claiming that being a feminist also means you hate men for some reason.

Most people around me would identify as a feminist, but it's not like we make that our identity.

What I can say is that when I was younger, I felt like there were more injustices towards women in the world. When you're just growing up and living some experiences for the first time, it's naturally to be overly sensitive to your own disadvantages and be blinded by that. When you're younger you're also more likely to think you know everything (maybe Dunning–Kruger effect). You have less data points if you have less life experience, so you're likely to make more biased conclusions. As you live more, you see events and certain dynamics in a fuller way, see different aspects of the world and see less black and white in everything. So feminists and activists in general are more vocal when they're younger.

People in these situations might support the group because their partners do, but they don't actually support the group on their own. For example, if I was in a relationship, I'd want my partner to have access to things that would make her happy or more comfortable, if she really wanted them, but I couldn't care less about whether or not other women get those same things.

This is very different from how I think. I want men's problems to be solved regardless if it impacts my husband or not. It's not all selfless, I want good things for men because a lot of my friends and family are men. It's impossible for me to dissociate myself with men or men's wellbeing because they're core to my social group and family. I don't know how you can not care about the wellbeing of 50% of the population unless you're very isolated and lives in relative solitude, or only associate with people the same gender as you.

I get assaulted, harassed, and threatened by men, not women, and specifically because I am physically weaker/smaller and have a vagina. The drunk guy at the bar groped me/the homeless guy threatened me, not my partner, even though he was standing right next to me.

I spend money, effort and time protecting my bodily integrity, which my partner doesn’t worry about, and knows he doesn’t have to worry about. I’m not trying to be a dick for no reason, so don’t misunderstand me here. But can you see how both simultaneously held ideas of “men say rapey shit all the time/ several men basically claiming variations of “rape is okay”, and the idea of hiding behind anonymity and as such not actually admitting anything are in conflict with each other?

Furthermore, the definition of what constitutes “rapey sounding stuff” nowadays has gotten incredibly stretched and insane. I literally cannot think of a single example off the top of my head of a man defending or excusing actual rape. We all agree on that point.

So, generally they use blanks for most shooting scenes, which have crimped tops (if you look closely in that top-down view of Agent Smith's Desert Eagle firing at Neo in the Matrix, you can see the crimping on the casings). However if a scene needs the rounds themselves to look authentic, they'll use dummy cartridges, which have the powder and primer removed but still have a bullet. My guess is there was a mixup with the dummy cartridges and someone is very fired.

Oh my fucking god I was seeing this guy and man was he boring he just rambled on and on about bombs or something with this military lingo I don't know.

He was one of those nice (but in reality chauvinistic) guys. Would walk you to your car, put his coat on your shoulders when you're cold, ask you to dance. The problem was, some women told him they're perfectly fine walking alone or not dancing and he didn't take no for an answer and he just kept asking them until they gave in. He did the same to me with his damn coat. He said "do you want my coat, you look cold" and I said "no" and he said "are you sure" and I said "I'm sure." and he said "are you sure" and I said "Yes." and then he just put the coat on my shoulders anyway.

Only redeeming quality was that he was a good kisser, and he asked if he could kiss me instead of just grabbing me like any other man. Though even that is iffy now because how do I know he wouldn't have began to pressure me if I said no.

That doesn’t work for everyone though. I’ve seen a picture of you and you’re above average looking, so you’re going to get success if you try. Not saying he shouldn’t try, but some people start out as a 3/10 and need to try in different ways other than just approaching women and stop being bitter. Red pill won’t work for everyone.

You need to start wrapping up your imgur links on pic drop threads haha.

I agree that there are definitely dudes who pull even though they’re average or below average, but some men can’t get anything just by approaching. It’s a lot of looksmaxing, learning how to be charming, learning how to read women better. I don’t think red pill is great at this for certain men because it ends up backfiring.

Idk. There’s a reason why FDS is considered the female red pill. They emphasize “leveling up” and vetting men, but the way it’s done is mixed in with bitterness, manipulation, etc. I can’t agree with you, but I’m glad you swallowed the red pill healthily.

Normal retail stores carry a tiny selection of sizes, usually only 4-5 cup sizes and 4 band sizes - basically just for around 25-30% of women. (Most women get their bras from these places, that’s why most women aren’t wearing the right size and think bras are super uncomfortable.)

Specialty boutiques or online stores carry around 15 cup sizes and 10-15 band sizes. Not a single US company carries a proper range of sizes, so specialty stores carry international brands.

Breast shape also matters a ton for whether a bra fits perfectly and is comfortable, some women are more full on top, on bottom, on the sides or the centers. Bras don’t advertise their shape, you have to try it on or read about it from other women (like on the bra fitting sub) to figure it out.

If you are outside the range, or a shape that you can’t find a match for - custom bras will help. Before my reduction custom bras were my only option, because my shape didn’t work with the very few bras that came in my size. (After surgery, I still don’t fit in the size range of a single American company, but stores like Nordstrom that carry international brands do!)
