There's a common trend in the romantic and sexual world. Men love short women, women love tall men. I know some of you are gonna say, "Well, men mainly go for women shorter than them, because WOMEN won't date men that aren't bigger than them!" No, it happens the other way around too. Not as much, but it happens; tall women get rejected for being taller than guys too!

As for reasons why a lot of men like to be the taller one--one of them is that they seem like they need protection more, which a lot of men still get a kick out of in this day and age. Men want to feel like protectors. Men need to be needed. Not ALL men, but you get the point. And don't get me started on the whole "easy to throw around" thing. Same thing applies to women; not all women want a 6'1 musclebound Gigachad.

My question isn't just in regards to height, though. I also mean what you think is the ideal build, frame, body type, whatever term you like best. Skinny, toned, curvy, chubby, stocky (in my opinion stocky means chubby but with some decent muscle underneath), muscular, so on and so forth.

For me, the ideal female body (I'm straight) is taller than me (at least 5'9 if we're giving precise measures here) and athletic, muscular, or stocky. Frame-wise, stocky or straight-up muscular is best.

What do you personally think is the ideal body? Like height, weight, and build? A specific estimate isn't really necessary. And why IS that the ideal body for you?

(And to reiterate, this is about what YOU find attractive, not society at large. It's a chance to get your personal opinions out, not to debate about societal beauty standards.)
