I see so many women saying men lack emotional maturity and don’t try to be empathetic with women in relationships.

The problem I have with this idea is look at how men are taught to deal with dating and most problems. “Stop whining and be better, improve instead of complaining about it.” Etc. So dudes pretty much don’t know how to deal with women venting as we aren’t even allowed to do so.

What is with this subs obsession to make everyone equally miserable instead of finding solutions to problems?

I made the argument that both genders should be able to vent in their relationship to a healthy degree after I saw a thread complaining about women apparently being whiny and men not being allowed to vent. The responses I got were either basically „no one should vent because it’s whiny“ or „its shitty that men can’t vent but they shouldn’t do it anyways because they’ll get cheated on“ . So instead of working on men feeling more comfortable in relationships we should shame both genders for expressing feelings?

Same with n count debates. Dudes on here complain about women having sex because they have a hard time getting laid (I don’t mean the ones that prefer lower n count partners, that’s totally fine). Why is it evil of women to have sex just because they have the option? I’m aware sexlessness can affect people a lot but it’s weird to me that people will be more concerned with preventing women from having sex than with getting laid themselves.

Every time I mention my relationship as a positive example where we both can vent and feel comfortable or we split the bill or whatever else I get those weird insults towards my boyfriend. I’m aware those issues exist and I’m not trying to downplay anything but maybe if you guys want more positivity for men then don’t get angry every time a man doesn’t conform to the exact gender roles you complain about?

This is frustrating.

Well I can't say I thought this through. I lied about getting a COVID test last week to my boss because I didn't want to go into work, I said that my Mum had gotten COVID and I went to get a PCR test just in case, now she's asking for my negative PCR test and I have nothing.

I'm just going to tell her either it got deleted when I was clearing my emails or that my phone crashed and I had to get it reset by my service provider.
