We are being psyoped into caring about declining birth rates.

The only reason declining birth rates are being pushed as a “crisis” is because corporations and politicians are worried about having fewer workers to exploit.

Objectively, declining birth rates are a good thing. The planet now has over 8 billion people, just 100 years ago it was around 1.5 billion. We don’t need more people, if anything we need fewer.

I know the common rebuttal, fewer births means fewer taxpayers, which supposedly puts strain on social services and causes societal issues. But that “problem” exists only because our entire economic system is built on the assumption of endless growth. That model is not sustainable. The real solution is creating an alternative economic system that doesn’t rely on perpetual population growth. Unfortunately, too many people are locked into defending the current model rather than imagining alternatives.

I bring this up because I see a lot of obsession with declining birth rates in redpill spaces, and honestly, I think they’ve fallen for like a lot people for a manufactured panic.
