It's always interesting when people complain about a lack of sympathy on this sub. When in reality this is one of the few places where you will find some resistance and challenge to your mindset. There are a lot of people with different backgrounds and experiences on here so when you vent your issues you don't just get "awww, that suck! Yeh - life is just terrible and I hope you can manage it". While venting can be good for your mental health it does nothing when it's just encountered with head pats. It creates a negative feedback loop which just feeds into negativity. And if you get stuck in one of the echo chambers then you will only end up more miserable because they just fester that the experiences you have are the "truth".

That helps no one. So when someone is on here and goes "woe it's me" and they get challenged of course that's a negative experience for them. They don't get their shoulder pat constantly. The downside is that the absolute majority of the people here don't know how to "help" that person. We can just tell them to try something else, change their worldview, touch grass and so on. But that's not how you change your miserable emotions. The work of that has to come from yourself. You have to examine why you feel this way and how to change that. But that's work, and it's uncomfortable and non of us here is a therapist to help you work through that.

So instead they complain how people on here don't show empathy to their issues and experiences. Because that's easier. And then they go and find a proper echo chamber to get their conformation strokes from other miserable people.

1: Disqualified. Totally mutilated.

2: Disqualifed but not mutilated.

3: Has many unnattractive features that overwhelm their overall appearance.

4: Has more unnattractive features than attractive and you wouldn't even be their friend.

5: Not unnattractive but has no attractive features and you can't find a reason you would date them. This is a friend.

6: Has attractive features but nothing special to make them stand out. Still fuckable.

7: Has attractive features and very fuckable plus you would date them.

8: Very attractive and almost nothing that you wouldn't like. Would get into a relationship with.

9: Extremely attractive and exactly your type. You would give up a kidney for this person.

Anyway I had to change my whole scale because I've noticed a few fat girls with pretty faces so I now longer cap fat girls at a 4.

Obese is still capped at a 3.

Does anyone here have a career they love or are content with? I don’t know if it’s my ADHD, but I’m getting that 1 year itch again to find something different. Maybe most jobs are BS and I’m going to go through this cycle til I retire.

I don’t even care about what I do as long as I’m learning something at least and it’s not tedious admin crap. Like it can’t be the same thing over and over again, which is why I also dropped out of college while studying Pre-Pharmacy. I just want to make enough money to be comfortable in the area I live in, but on a single income. Maybe I just need to be more patient, I definitely struggle with this.
