First and foremost, there are indeed a plethora of conflicting studies on the subject matter of dating preference: some suggest that women love nice guys, others state the opposite and so on.

Science by itself, particularly the social science, is often severely flawed given the easily manipulated end result by controlling the sample group's characteristics. I suspect that researches do this as part of their politically correct ideology.

Anecdotal experiences -though they may not be the ideal source of information but nonetheless seem to be ubiquitous amongs young western men- have offered a substancial prespective on what women desire in men, romantically.

Unless a woman reaches an age where she takes a very pragmatic approach to finding an agreeable not-so-sexy partner, she will most likely desire a hyper-competitive, stoic, emptionless, taller, wealthier, ambitious man who serves as a proective and pioneering spirit that a young woman would like to accompany.

This information is often not communicated to the frustrated young dude who is so often told nonsense such as: * Buy her flowers * Take her to expensive exotic restaurants * Show her how much you care! * She will soon realize how toxic those other guys are and will choose you instead * Watch chick-flicks and emulate the male protagonist (I cannot make this up) * Be a good little 9-5 worker and women will respect your integrity.

Now I don't buy into the nonsense that women like to be mistreated by men. But its ubandantly clear that western society is so hesitant to embrace an uncomfortable truth that a huge portion of women -not necessarily all- do crave a disagreeable man who is not afraid to voice a controvertial opinion.

If men are told -and if western society whollistically embrace the harsh truth- that masculinity need not to be a destructive force but rather a force that serves to construct society in a not so politically correct manner, men would not be whinning so much about female hypergamy and would know exactly what to expect.
