Of course not, I only get with men who treat me like an equal. And people abuse their spouses exactly like your uncle does even without being rich, so I don’t think that’s related. Women can abuse their husbands in the same way, and so can people even when making no money at all, it’s not about women being turned on by money. Also, submitting to abuse by someone is not the same as respecting someone. My mother abused me for years, I never respected her for it, even when I had no choice but to put up with it.

What I did in to have a comfortable lifestyle, instead of becoming a sex slave, is I taught myself skills that can be used to earn money. It’s a preferable method to me, but if your uncle lives in a place that allows multiple wives it sounds like it might not be a western country, so perhaps that isn’t an option for them.

I don't know if enough evidence to say she "submitted" because she made a sandwich when ask. If the wives are responsible for the cooking it is only natural they handle it. To get a woman to submit to you, you have to have the kind of character that inspires that in her; you can't buy it, you have to be it. And then there has to be something both emotionally and tangibly beneficial in it for her.

Think of the Army. A lot of submission to authority, a lot of rah-rah inspiration, most people get a lot out of being in The Army. If I'm the sergeant, I can't just toss the troops a few bucks and talk them into that.

And it only works with people who already agree with and like the idea of being in The Army.
