I'm not saying that being attracted to other people inside of a relatioship isn't normal. It's healthy and biologically/psychologically normal.

I happen to be someone who does not feel attracted to others when I'm already in love with one person. I'd rather be in a balanced relationship where the person I'm with also feels the same about me. I don't want to be the only one commited to the degree I am.

People have told me it's unrealistic. I agree. But I'd still rather stay single (maybe forever) than settle.

The reason I'm asking this question is because I ran across an askmen thread. The girl was asking if they still masturbate to their gf/wives after getting into a relationship with them. Some men yes, but a lot of the replies were claiming that those guys were lying to look good. "Why would I think about my gf if I'm in a relationship with her?" which means their gf looses their appeal after a guy finally gets to sleep with her. Is this logic wrong or common among men?

When I've watched porn in the past, I've never chosen it because of the guy. It was always about the scene. But again I see guys saying that they watch porn because they need variety in women (attracted to other women in a relationship).

Is it possible I will ever meet a guy like me? Or is it wishful thinking?
