That's basically it for me tbh.

Like yeah, I am an introvert, so I don't go out partying much, but that shouldn't be enough to turn one incel.

I do however also have nerdy interests and I work as a programmer, so in every aspect of my life women are simply a complete minority. My department at work has 1 woman, my entire company has maybe single 2 women in my age group (and frankly I might just not know that they have a boyfriend), when I was in university my group of friends had one single woman (and I was the one who chatted her up in a lecture and invited so sit with us, my mates were just as clueless on how to meet women). Last time I intensely pursued a hobby where you could meet people in real life (archery club) there were a bunch of guys my age but the closest girl to my age was a 13 years old who was there with her dad (I was 18 at the time). What else.... When I went to a birthday party of a friend, usually like 30 guys, 1-2 women, etc ...

Like idk what it is, but there's just no way for me to connect with women naturally. I tried bars and clubs for a few years, but I simply don't enjoy dancing (like I could probably enjoy competitive/sport dancing but just for fun I overthink what to do, what people think of me - "Oh, no one is looking at you when you're dancing just do it. Oh by the way, do you see that guy over there, I mean you can't be worse than him, me and my friends spotted him earlier he's hilariously bad"), but I'm also not very outgoing so getting into conversations at all, even with guys, was a constant, exhausting struggle. I literally started smoking only to have a conversation opener and an excuse to hang where there the music isn't as loud.

Yeah, I could probably be doing more in the direction of joining clubs, but it feels like the way I am naturally leaves me with no contact with women at all, it's like I'm part of some subculture where women simply don't want to go.

It's also why, to me, it almost feels like an insult when some feminists tells me that "me and my sexist colleagues keep women out of programming". Holy fuck, these are some of the nicest most supplicating guys I have ever seen PERIOD. You could probably hold a programmer job simply by flirting with them and having them do your work for you, without writing a single line of code. In uni the girls would have DROVES of nerdy guys offering to help with homework, inviting them to study groups, etc etc. Yeah some of the older guys occasionally are a bit weird around women, but that's the case in any industry. But putting the blame on men and the discrimination that women face (or that they're told to not care about science in school because that's men's work - LOL, no, every single STEM teacher I have ever had was encouraging towards women joining their classes and made sure the few that were there , were able to follow along.

Well I'm a friging incel myself and I have a bunch of friends which are also incels so when I grab a beer and play some pool or darts with my pals I'm basically hanging out with a bunch of incels.

Sure, sometimes we talk about women being shallow, sometimes we talk about feeling bad. No self loathing though. Most of the time we crack jokes, laugh, sometimes talk about serious topics, nerdy ones, environment, politics... etc. There are some things we like about ourselves, there are some things we don't.

There is no social anxiety, infact I am usually the first person who approaches strangers for whatever. I did had a bunch of friends until I decided to make my social circle smaller, and women really want to be friends with me, call me to coffee and shit and hang on, but just friends and nothing else.

Inc subs are a toxic shithole no question about it. However you really shouldn't form opinion on groups of people based on subs... usually more extreme people tend to circlejerk in those subs.

I mean... just take a look at FSD sub it's formed of incels as well, or femcels , it's a toxic shithole. However they cannot represent femcels, they are simply... a group of extreme femcels circlejerking.

I think many of them feel that even after lots of work on their looks it will be very hard for them to get the hotter ones (cheerleader and model types I guess?) , certainly not for hookups and casual relationship and I think many of them don't want to end up in situation when in their late 20s or early 30s when one of these women give them chance (We all know their is some truth to this) and even then they had to like go through a long time of dating and all before they finally accept them for Relationship with disclaimer that it was due to his personality , Nothing wrong with that, people look for different things at different stages of their life, but I don't kinda do feel like condescending cause it says you don't inspire that kinda of attraction but you feel safe and steady ( as in emotionally and physically not financialy) and enjoyable company enough that either she is putting up with sex or get occasional arousal here and there due to her love for him.

Right, women are more impressed with appearances than anything else especially in the modern world with all the social programs that keep their nose just slightly above the water line.

Women have always been obsessed with appearances. There were just times when they had to suck it up a little bit to avoid not dying.

Now young women can drop out of high school become mothers and get an income of a little over $2,000 a month from our provincial governments.

Of course one side of the argument is that we can't let the weak and vulnerable just die. But the trade-off is that they make themselves weak and vulnerable by dropping at a high school and having kids because at the time it seems like a hell of a lot easier way to move out and get their own apartment and be "strong and independent" then finishing high School and learning a trade or going to school or just taking a freaking job at a warehouse. That's a lot of hard work.

Of course the other side of the argument is that raising children is a lot of hard work too. And I'm not saying it isn't. But since most women want to have a child anyway, it's just easier to do that now instead of going through all that other crap.

Of course it's really just a short/mid term solution. These same women will become very desperate around 32 to get pregnant and have another kid before that window closes. This will let them cruise to about 52 before they lose all of their benefits.

And by that time they've already have developed (or pretend to have developed) an invisible mental illness like anxiety and/or fibromyalgia. Now they can claim disability benefits. It's not as much money as having a child but it's better than being on welfare or having to go get a job with no skills at 50.

And it's no wonder they're anxious. That fear and anxiety comes from their survival instinct. Whether conscious of it or not, at some level they know they need to do something or starve. So of course anxiety is going to go through the roof. But in my experience and in my evaluation they did it to themselves.

Have they finished high school and found a guy that even just had a job... And she went to work too... They would have owned a house within 10 years if not sooner. And by the time they reach 50 years old that has to be paid off. Then they could reduce their hours to part-time. By the time they're 65 they can sell the house and get a massive dose of cash and downsize to an apartment and live out the rest of their days in relative comfort.

But no, being Democratic and negotiable with a man is not something they are willing to do once they've got they wanted... his man juice.

And they can play the sympathy damsel in distress card for decades. Once they make it to 65 they can continue playing the victim card getting sympathy for being a senior. But those years between the children leaving and 65 are really freaking hard. Men aren't interested in them anymore. And women in their age bracket that were Democratic and negotiable with a man and did things in relatively the right order know what they did, so they don't have much sympathy either.

Yeah it can be tricky finding clothes that tick all the boxes. There's a lot of tedious trial and error involved. I always save the tags and receipts so I can return them if they turn out to be uncomfortable or if don't look as great as I thought they did in the store. Fortunately, you really only need like 2 pairs of jeans and 2 pairs of shorts which can last up to 1-2 years before you need to get new ones.

It also took me years to learn how to read the damn washing/drying instructions which are printed on the label. Would've saved a lot of money and been a lot more comfortable had I known how to properly clean my clothes without them gradually shrinking and fading over time lol

I used to dress up nicely for college classes all the time but wearing long-sleeve button down collared shirts, dress pants and dress shoes all day isn't exactly comfortable.

Yeah I wore similar clothes to class/work when I first tried dressing nicer. But I learned that there's a middle-ground between the gym shorts and the dress slacks (i.e. comfortable, yet fashionable, jeans). Instead of button-down collared shirts, I switched to things like buttoned crew necks. Not quite a plain t-shirt or tank-top, but it feels pretty much the same and looks a lot nicer.

Fuck wearing dress shoes to anything other than a job interview or a wedding lol. That shit's painful af. A pair of white and black vans slip ons will go with pretty much everything, be super comfortable, and look dope.

I never said men are entitled to women. You are changing the subject. Entitlement has nothing to do with this discussion.

An incel is simply a man who desires relationships/sex and can't get it.

Yes, women are the ones creating this situation because women are the ones who label eighty percent of men as "below average" and reject any guy who isn't above a certain height/race/looks threshold. Online dating is overpopulated with men which proves men are making an effort. Women are not interested.

Therefore many men are left over and incel. It's inevitable.

Unless you intend to castrate all those men, they will remain incel no matter how outraged you are by their existence. It's part of normal male biology to want sex/relationships.

Currently trendline suggests >40% incel rate within a few years if we're not there already.

It's your fault. Women always blame men for enforcing unrealistic looks standards on them, this doesn't mean they want to force men to be different. The same applies here, the difference is that most men are unattractive to women, women are actually enforcing unrealtistic standards that make men feel insecure and depressed, not the opposite. Women should blame fashion industries if they feel insecure about their appearance, not men since most men don't have unrealistic looks standards.

One could blame society as a whole, after all both men and women enforce looks standards, right? Nope, if these guys were gay they would have tons of dating options, those guys could get hundreds of dates within months. For exampke, I use gay dating apps to not feel ugly, I felt attractive for the firs time in my life only thanks to gay men.

Yeah a lot of men are taught shitty things from traditional times and a lot of men feel a lot of pressure from women. My thing is... if you really want a partner as a guy, then the guy has to put effort into how they look and how they act toward her... it's not like women should straight up just be with a man... and seeing as how men are taught very little by their parents about respecting and treating women like people, it really gets in the way of women wanting to be with a lot of men.

Both women and men have different standards for each person and if that is too much for either side to take, whether it's misogynistic or mysandristic, then maybe each side should hear and adjust. But if both sides are asking for extreme compromise then well... there's not really any change that can happen. But you can't say men should blame themselves especially those being directly affected by whatever they are perceiving to be a threat. Because even though they may be a part of the problem, they taught or learned to be that way. My one hope is that men learn to set aside their ego's, and while holding on to their own integrity, adjust or at least learn to accept criticism
