I've mentioned in a comment on this sub before that my Spouse's relative was a sex trafficked woman from their poorer European country. The liberal lies about this industry do so much to obscure the utter brutality and misogyny and callousness these women face. "Sex Work is Work" doesnt apply when these German brothels are filled mostly with women from Slavic countries who were tricked, sold, or coerced into being there, who often dont speak the language and have little employment rights.

My spouse (who has cultural knowledge) also pointed out that the countries these women are trafficked from are less "sex positive" and have stricter standards for female modesty and sexuality than countries like Germany or the Netherlands. Which is yet another factor that points toward the desperation or even enslavement these women experience in order to end up in brothels. How is this allowed in a first world country?
