It's silly to try to punish a woman, just because she had it easier in that area.

Why do women with low n counts get defensive when men claim they do not want high n count women?
Ive read several times comments where a women punches down on guys who say they wouldnt commit to a high n count woman only to reveal that they themselves have a low n count. Its like why would you even care then, the guy is not talking about you?

This makes me think that even if a woman has no intentions sleeping around if she believes that there is even a 1% chance she would want to at some point, she wants to be a part of creating a culture where a woman status is not hurt by it. I personally don't care about n-count as much as how she values sex. If she believes in sex outside romance that is a deal breaker. If she engages in casual sex then that is a deal breaker. Her moral philosophy is what matters here to me. Men shouldn't be shamed for having this preference, I don't understand why women here get upset over it. I don’t think it’s as big of a thing as men on PPD make it out to be. I think what’s more important to men these days is how a woman carries herself, not the actual number.

It’s weird because I almost feel lied to, growing up strictly religious it was made out to be the end all be all of a woman. As a result, I struggled with so much guilt when leaving my abusive ex as I was convinced a woman HAD to marry the man who took her virginity. Even after leaving, I guarded my n count and declined sexual situations that hey, maybe I would’ve enjoyed. Who knows.

My boyfriend now didn’t even ask about my count until over a year after we dated. He’s told me that even as friends, I was a woman he respected, and I think that comes from how I carry myself. At the same time, I carry myself the way I do partially because I take pride in keeping a low n count. so there’s that.

This topic comes up so damn much on this sub that at this point it makes no sense to pretend it doesnt matters and on top of that is one of the most misunderstood topics i dare to say, even real life where it isnt taken to such xtremes people still get touchy about it, a lot of women hide it and a lot of men comfort themselves with the "i rather not know", this subreddit can pretend as much as it wants that it doesnt matter, reality is that relationships have been broken over this countless times, it doesnt means that a woman who has slept around cant find a partner or those other generalizations, but even in those self improvement spaces oriented to men that arent as radical as the redpill you still find men who just cringe at the idea of dating a woman who slept around, specially because they didnt self improve just to get that.

Not only that, but if you actually paid attention, you ll notice that there is a lot of bs regarding this topic, because the opposite side say that sexual history shouldnt matter, but at the same time say that virgnity is a red flag, that a man with a low n count is a lot of derrogatory stuff, that virgins or unexperienced people are unworthy of love and worst for relationships, not even the moderate people who put their fist in the air everytime somebody expresses that sexual history matters bat an eye to those terms, is hypocritical and clearly shows that ironically sexual history does matter to them but in the opposite way, blatant virtue signalling, so if it is fair to reject someone for their lack of experience then it is also completely fair to reject someone because they are too experienced for ones taste.

Why do people on reddit insist that men don't care about n-count IRL? This is purely anecdotal but from my experience most men do care, whether they are aware of the pills or not. I feel like it's natural for a guy to feel some type of way about it. It's wishful thinking to push the narrative men don't care about n-count. It's usually women saying this shit too which is dumb because they don't see "guys" in their true form - quick tip, they're lying to you. A lot will frame themselves as supportive/non-judgemental for promiscuousness, however in reality, one way or the other, you'll find out that's not the case.

I'd say roughly 7/10 guys care. Of those 7, 2-3 will be outspoken about it whilst the other 4 will be too apprehensive to bring it up. The other 3 won't care about it. Only on reddit is this reversed.

Imo, the discussion of n-count is pointless anyway. Some care, some don't. Those who care, find some who's not promiscuous. Those who don't care, nice - you got more options. No one should be shamed for having a preference, nor should one be shamed for being promiscuous. But of course this shit never works out that way - the "hoes" get shamed, then the "hoes" shame those that have preferences, rinse and repeat (using "hoes" because I can't be bothered using promiscuous or high n-count 50 times, so relax).

Someone who has slept around a lot sees sex as sport or recreation rather than procreation, and the adhesive that binds a relationship together. Thus, they are more likely to cheat. This applies to both men and women.

A high n count is a major risk factor going into marriage. Especially as a man with so much to lose in divorce, or worst case paternity fraud.

I do think n count matters to some men, even in the 'wild'. And this is why people and women don't like this. Just say that this is what you feel and end of the story. Subjectivity > objectivity in this case. Give them no point of attack or place for a counter argument.

If it's only LVMs who cares about n-count (as in, caring about that is what makes a male a LVM) and that they have no relevance on anything of note, then the whole thing is moot.

But really, it's all the relevant men who seemed to be the one who care (or rather, caring about it elevates a male, if not to the status of a real man, at least above the rest of the LVM rabble), hence why the narrative that it shouldn't matter and hiding it regardless.

It is no accomplishment for a woman to have slept with a lot of guys. For most women, having sex is an incredibly easy thing to attain. Sleeping with many men for a woman does not point to any "positive" traits she may have, whereas for men, to have sex, it usually requires having some type of "positive" traits: being good-looking, funny, charming, good conversationalist, has money etc. The literature is pretty clear with the statistics. Higher body count in women is correlated with higher prevalence of mental health issues, personality disorders, drug use and cheating. Of course these are just correlations, so by no means does it mean that a woman with a high body count fits any of those demographics, but the data is clear.

No form of contraception is 100% effective. Every time a women has sex, it is possible for her to get pregnant. And all those guys she's hooked up with could have been a father to her child. Societally, it probably wouldn't be so great for a woman to have a bunch of kids with a bunch of different guys who might not be mature or healthy enough to be a father and who might not even know if the child is theirs.

Sex is not and never will be equal between men and women. The risk is so much greater for women. Women can get pregnant and have to deal with all the consequences of that. STD's are more dangerous for women. Women are more likely to be physically hurt from sex. Women are more likely to feel used after sex. . Women are shamed more societally. A walk of shame refers to a woman walking home after sex, never to a guy. A high N count is correlated negatively to a long term relationship.

You can’t turn a ho into a housewife isn’t 100% true but on average it is actually good advice.
