What I've noticed with bodycount is that it does not matter what your reasoning for your preference is; women will still shame it.

If you say you don't want someone who's run through, that your woman is a representation of yourself, they will say you're insecure.

If you say you don't want a high bodycount woman because they have higher divorce rates and marital disatisfaction, they'll say you're jealous of women's ability to sleep around.

If you simply say it gives you the ick, they'll just get mad.

So as much as women like to say "your preferences are valid", they really don't mean it.

Question: How did the N Count debate become so polarized and unnuanced?

Why do so many women have trouble admitting that sexual past CAN matter, and maybe even should matter? Shouldn't we be talking about at what point it should matter rather than the extreme position that it never should matter? Also, why can't we all admit that there may be some gender asymmetry here, and then discuss the extent of it?

I honestly think the main reason men struggle with dating is that they don’t take care of themselves properly.

Think about how much the average woman does for herself vs the man. If men acted like women in a sense that they paid more attention to making sure their living space is nice and that they are well groomed, take nice photos, friendly, and stylish I’m sure a lot of guys wouldn’t struggle.

Ok at the core of it the idea of other men having sex with the girl you love and adore is simply repulsive to most men.
