Most of this sub is not aware of the reality of hard drug use and assume that anyone thats ever touched the scary drugs like opiates or meth ends up a hopeless addict strung out, sucking dick to get a hit. It aint like that. Meth has one of the highest addiction rates of any drug, and that sky high rate is like 30%. There's millions upon millions of people out there doing coke, meth, poppin pills, having some molly to party occassionally for stretches of time, then they move on with their lives and are completely fine.

when I was 20/21 I went on a date with this white girl (Suzy we’ll cal her. Yes her race is important)who would always talk about how she’s into weed and wanted to smoke with me since I never had before. We met up and she had terrible acne. I’m thinking hey it happens . Then she starts acting weird and every car that passes she stops talking. I ask her what’s wrong and she says she wants to make sure her ex isn’t driving by. I say “your ex lives around here?”. She says “well one of my exes lives next door but he’s cool. My other ex just likes to drive by to see if I’m seeing anyone”. At this point I break tf out.

A week or so later forgetting I had Suzy on Facebook I see a thread of people arguing. Some woman is calling her a methhead whore and saying that’s why she has custody of her kid. Suzy respond that she’s one to talk since she literally has sex for money to buy crack. The woman responds she hasn’t done that and years then asks “who’s the father of the kid you’re pregnant with now? You probably don’t even know because you fuck anything that moves. It probably some fucking n*gger. You’re the only fucking mistake that stays with me and I should’ve aborted you bitch”

This was Suzy’s mom.

Needless to say this inspired me to never do drugs. But to answer your question no I would never date a methhead

Here in America many young single women are addicts of some kind whether its alcohol, drugs, social media or the roughly 1/3rd who are on SSRI or other medications. I know this is an old post but I wouldn’t recommend it. You will always come second to their addiction. They will lie, cheat and steal to fuel their habit. They are an emotional roller coaster. They could love you deeply one minute and your the best thing ever. The next minute their flying into a rage over almost nothing. I’m currently dating a meth addict and I love her but I just don’t think it’s sustainable. It will leave you feeling sad and empty. Oh and you have to put up with other lying, cheating, shit bag addicts who are their “friends”. If you decide to do it be prepared for the emotional roller coaster that is sure to follow.

It is unfortunate when people get addicted to drop, and sometime it's really outside of control. But to go into a relationship with someone like that will only ruin your life and break your heart. I worked with someone who's in recover and her baby daddy is an on and user of whatever he can get his hands on. I would highly suggest to everyone to never date and addict of any drug.
