It is mostly accepted that, in ideal conditions, sex is better than masturbation and porn. The sensations, touch, etc. obviously make the experience way more pleasurable as sex than just as a hand and pornographic images.

However, it is also true that getting sex is very disappointing and hard it is to get sex for most men. Women are pickier than ever in history as they have now a wider range of choices. Sometimes men don't get the women they want (fat, old, etc. that cause ED), or the woman does not even move during sex (boring), etc. On top of this the risks of STDs and pregnancy.

Given all the downsides, it makes sense for some men to just get comfortable with porn and masturbation, even if not ideal. I also heard about married men with family and so on, but still watch porn and masturbate, because often sex twice a week is not enough for men while it is enough for many women.

I wonder, do you think porn and masturbation is discouraging men from getting sex? Or rather they just use it as complement for the little sex they get?
