He is an amazing mentor to my children and a caring and attentive boyfriend. I'm not sharing any of this to try to argue one side or the other, but to basically say that all the rules are kind of bullshit. It's nice to have strategy and guidelines to keep yourself safe; it's fucking scary out there. People are predatory - BOTH men and women. But studying stats and creating rigid rules as though they should be blankly applied over a population of complex, intelligent (using that loosely in some cases) beings is absurd.

People are people. Everyone has had unique experiences and has unique likes and dislikes. Some people just want sex. Some people want security and stability. Some people are desperate for a nuclear family. Others want the freedom of no commitment. The fun part is that the same person can want all of these things at different periods in their life.

People overlook connections because they're too busy trying to follow rules and vet motives. Others desperately try to force a connection because someone looks good on paper. Neither one is good.

Do I have some regret that I married the first two men I slept with instead of living more freely in my "prime"? Sometimes I wonder how my life would have been different, but I wouldn't necessarily say I regret it. There's absolutely no guarantee that my life would have been more fulfilling had I stayed unattached. Do I think my current HVM would think lesser of me had I fucked the high school football team? Usually, men love the idea of casual sex if they are the type of guy who can have it easily and they hate the idea of casual sex if they're the type of guy who can't have it easily. A guy's attitude about casual sex is usually a good indicator of whether he is high value or not.

I think the best way to understand it is that men see in attractive women a representation of the feminine ideal. So when those women behave in a way contrary to that ideal, it's seen as disgusting and wrong.

If we lived in a world where girls didn't allow for casual sex and only in committed relationships/ marriage then I'd adapt to that world and have sex with one girl after marrying her.

Men who complain about the "CC" are the men that feel left behind or that are getting the short stick of the deal.

A promiscuous man could date a promiscuous woman and not care at all about her past (usually, not always, there are men out there with a high count like me who wouldn't date ever a woman with half his notches).

But for a man that didn't experienced "young love" or wasn't allowed to live his sexuality on it's fullest, explore his fantasies and all that, a woman with a huge list of ex lovers is just a constant reminder of his own failures and inadecuacies.

There are, of course, 100 other reassons why these relationships with a wide gap of experience between each of the parts involved fail miserably most times, but at the end of the day it all boils down to a mismatch in sexual and emotional experiences, that place the man and the woman at different stages of life, even if they have similar ages.

I know, that's the guy's problem and he's the one that needs to solve it (or not) but if women are looking for long term partners then all of a sudden this is also a women's problem, because these women looking for meaningful life-lasting relationships will have to pair up with these resentful men.

So I think women need to pay attention to this modern phenomena... IF they actually want a relationship, this is. If not just pay no attention and keep doing whatever you were doing.

Sex is worth more to women. I find it bizzare that some men get genuinely angry and hateful towards women and the fact they are more selective with their partners.

Women are overvalued, but everyone knows value doesn't just happen, it has to be generated by a need. Men have a desire for sex as it is less expensive for them, its a quantitative mindset. Women value sex and the quality of a partner due to the consequences of possible pregnancy. Thats not all though, women also must deal with the societal pressures of being sexualised but also not overstepping and seeming "easy". This means that easy women can be seen as someone who is uncaring of the quality of partners she has, does not care about pregnancy or is infertile to some degree and acts similarly to a man would in her approach to sex. Typically, that isn't attractive to men.

If a women has casual sex, and doesn't have sex with you, you can understand how that would damage someone's self-worth. Logically, being that picky shouldn't matter to someone that isn't treating sex as valuable. However, on the flip side of that there is also the idea that a woman who is promiscuous and wants to sleep with you has low standards. If she goes for someone who rarely gets attention then its likely she is desperate, or has to drop below her usual standards. Both are pretty insulting, but thats due to the expectations, perceptions and normalised culture of female vs male sexuality.

It sounds nice but not all men get casual sex and I consider myself to be a good man, I just gave up and don’t bother anymore. Also men don’t want a girl that’s all used up. I wouldn’t buy a car with over 100,000 miles on it.

When that girl tries to settle when she’s 30 her chances are drastically decreased when finding a good quantity man. They’ll just go for the younger more virtuous women. Women are affected more psychologically than man when having multiple sexually partners. This leads to problems. A women in her 30s isn’t typically as good looking as when she was in her 20s. So you don’t look as good and your all used up? I wouldn’t want that.

This is primary why I’ve been single for four years and not interested in dating and having sex. There is just too much risk for a man nowadays.

Women do whatever they want. They just need to accept they consequences. For example a guy says he wont date a girl who is double digits, they accept it and move on. Im religious but some of my friends who arent, they say it like this: you ride they town bike but you don't buy they town bike. You ride the town bike because its cheaper, easy, low effort, etc. You just don't buy it, because you don't know who also rode it and the damage it did to it. If you buy it, you will probably need to do repairs and so on. Besides you are buying something that was free, Thays bad business. You only buy bikes which are new. Of course they are expensive but they don't come with so many kms on them.

Of course dating has it nuances but is more or less like I describe it.
