There is a running joke on campus that “butter faces are easier to butter up” eg, unattractive women / men are easier to con into sex and relationships. They have fewer options so women maximize their chances of securing a partner via sex and men secure their chances of securing a partner by lowering their standards.

I'd avoid relationships with men with no standards (knowing he has had sex with... below average women or in high numbers). But usually these men are below average themselves.

Technically, If I was looking for strictly NSA sex at the moment, I wouldn't care if they guy was hot.
