I don’t know any women that want to eat Cheetos and play video games all day. But I’m sure they exist. I like a little Cheetos from time to time though or dots pretzels (that’s my crack).

What are women doing or are women doing what they want to do and what is that?

I can’t see a problem until I understand what women are actually doing that is the equivalent of eating Cheetos and playing video games all day.

All of my girlfriends have a minimum of a bachelors or masters degrees, work career jobs, and have kids that have many events. I know there are a lot of childless women too, but the ones I know have careers and are not playing video games all day.

What is the female equivalent to video games that OP speaks of?

Ultimately it doesn't really matter what women are told. If a woman can get her high standards met she has no reason to lower them, even if people told her she was being unreasonable. If she isn't getting guys that meet her standards, she will notice, even if all her friends and media tell her what a queen she and how she doesn't need to settle.

It's the same with men. You can tell me I should date overweight, older, single moms all you want, but as long as young fit women without kids are interested in me, I just won't care.

In seriousness, most people on this sub acknowledge this double standard and alot of us agree with you on this. But what exactly can be done, realistically? You either accept the world as it is and change or face the consequences when you don't get the results you want. The same thing also applies to women. A woman who sits around all day not doing anything with her life will also face the consequences of not attracting high quality partners.

Real life isn't about equitable fairness, even if that's how it would be in an ideal world.

There are people who work 80 hours a week for a low salary who can't ever afford a Lambo. There are lazy people born into trust funds who have multiple Lambos despite not lifting a finger each week.

It's more about market demand and supply. On the dating market, women simply have more demand (and for the under 40 age group, less supply as in most Western countries there are more men than women), meaning that there's never going to be equality in how much each side needs to bring to the table.

We are trying use a single solution to solve two very different problems. Women are born with privilege, men are not. Women have that advantage through their 20's and it wanes with age and the loss of beauty, youth and fertility. Men have no such advantage and are required to build and become - some do, others look at the rat race and say fuck that I'm going to enjoy my life - understandable because men are if nothing else have high levels of disagreeableness. The bigger issue at hand has more to do with the willful destruction of male spaces while preserving and championing female spaces - often at the cost of male spaces.

No, because women are going to be able to do whatever they can up to the point that men are no longer attracted to them. As it takes a lot for a typical woman to make herself completely unattractive to men sexually, women have a lot of leeway regarding what they can get away with. The only think that keeps them in check is other women competing for the same high value men, not what men actually desire, as men aren't all that picky sexually.

When it comes to relationships, men are pickier, but women now have the economic power to live without relationships if men choose to not commit to them.

As a man , I think it’s fair because this is the dynamic that has always existed in our human history. We aren’t women, so comparing us to them is pointless. Men have always had to work for value while women didn’t have to as much. This is because as men our testosterone makes us want to complete for women, so that gives them value. Maybe it’s not fair, but it’s the trade off to be a physically strong male.

I did whatever I was supposed to do to go out and meet people, connect,etc. But then I am not blessed with good genes so it doesn't work. You get one too many rejections all the time everytime and you realise whatever it is that women want, you don't have it so it's pointless trying to put yourself out there constantly doesn't matter if you just want to look for some action or connection, you resort to the cheetos and video game. I wish I didn't buy into any of that "go out and meet someone" bullshit as it doesn't work for unattractive guys. My brothers, do what you really want to do.... finish that new call of duty and prestige 5 times before December. Do your own thing but also take care of your own health. You can live without sex and/or relationships but you cannot live if you are unhealthy.
