One of the most frequent complaints that I hear from women is them struggling to find men that want a long term relationship. Seeing interactions online and offline I have to conclude that women are simply sabotaging themselves so much so that "where all the good men?" has become some kind of a meme.

Most recently I came across a post by another user that created a fake female dating profile and quickly secured dates and didn't report the usual complaints that women have. So how have women respond? Well a lot of them didn't, the ones that did mainly called OP the spawn of satan for even doing this in the first place and a few others demurred it as not being scientific and others just called all the men ugly.

It doesn't seem like American women are willing to be honest with themselves in terms of dating, most recently I saw a woman on this sub post that they have very low standards in dating and are simply looking for an above average man. If that's low then what's high?

I don't have an issue with women being as picky, but I do believe women are sabotaging themselves by not being honest with their standards. When various sourced data, scientific and not scientific point to women being ever more selective but women denying this and instead when they encounter struggles in dating rather than solve them they will simply blame everything on men without analyzing.
