I see a lot of women say that men aren’t self sufficient and can barely function like an adult. I disagree with that but I think some women are saying that as a way to keep men dependent on them, not because they actually believe it.

A woman’s value in a relationship is based off of many things unlike men who are judged mainly off of their finances. Cooking and cleaning are just some things that can impact her value. It makes perfect sense for women to keep those type of attributes valuable and I believe they’re doing just that.

Men get shamed for eating simple meals, having simple decor, not having a spotless home, and even for the soap they use. Often time these men are fine with how they live until women comment on it. Home cooked meals are nice but he was fine eating frozen food, his 2 in 1 shampoo is good enough to him. “Turning a house into a home” is just code for spending his money on things that serve no purpose that he couldn’t care less about, then humble bragging about it at every chance.

What are your thoughts on my theory? Is this something women are doing on purpose? Are men more self sufficient than people think?
